It looks like you're running a 50 meg connection in which case I'd be happy enough with what you're getting. I too occasionally get a 20 meg result, a result of a spike in 'traffic' I suspect. My BB is miles slower than my PC, probably as much to do with the phone as anything, but I'm no expert.

Talking to a mate of mine today, he tells me how his wife has been going on about growing her hair long again, but it gets to that 'mid length' length which she hates so has it cut again. She's finally resolved this by getting permanent hair extensions. So now it is artificially long and she can trim it back as her hair grows though with no mid length blues. Cost? 5... ...HUNDRED English pounds!!!!! I told him it would have been a damn sight cheaper to hide the scissors, he said it's restored her self confidence and she feels beautiful again, and as such is wanting lots of loving!!! I also explained that whores have gotta be a whole lot cheaper than that!!!

They're currently trialling the new 100mb service...dunno if I need it really! Albums in seconds and movies under 10 mins!!!! Nah, it'll never catch on.

If your paying for a 10 megabyte service then it's not bad at all, if you're paying for more than that, I'd not be happy. Lots of people pay for 20 meg but only get 8 or 9 due to line quality, if that's the case you might just as well pay for a 10 meg service.

, yes mate it is, it should actually be closer to 50, I've seen it at 49+ but, at 7 in the evening I'm happy with that. Virgin Media is cable telly/internet etc through fibre optic cables, 'tis like greased lightning. I download music albums in under 5 minutes generally and movies are down in less than 20 generally. It's fantastic for live streaming too, it's costing me £30 a month, but it's worth it ....IMO.

Try it at Speedtest (the image is a clickable link), lots of people recommend it as being as accurate as necessary...

They are bloody good but I agree the Fernox TF1 is a better unit, not in sludge removal but ease of use and fitting. I too always fit one on a new install or upgrade, mind you, pretty pointless if the system isn't inhibited and with regular top ups.

My step lads father is a DI in Sharm, he has a nice life out there BUT, he is not making enough to save and will bring nothing back. When he decides to come home he'll be no better off than when he went 5 years ago. :blink:

Evening all, I have just dismantled a Mk1 Land Rover Discovery (1996), it was a 3.9 V8 running on petrol and LPG, it was still running well when taken off the road but has become a casualty of the credit crunch, she's an abandoned project. I also have a complete Series 3 body and panels. Before I start listing it all on the 'bay, does anyone need any bits? PM me with your requirements.
