  1. Excellent really enjoyed that. Keep them coming. My shooting is dire at the moment so would love one of them. I doubt the bird would even be on the screen. Look forward to the next one
  2. That's a good idea. I didn't think it would fit. Will have to grab one and try it
  3. Ideally get a cable in then you done. ANy sort of extender will all ways be a bit up and down. You try a pair of inline power adaptors nice and easy to use but you won't know how well they work until you try. But a cable with an access point on the end is the best way unless it is not possible
  4. Yes beautiful gun. Sort of got it all that picture and must be lovely experience
  5. Very nice indeed what sort of range roughly ?
  6. Yes from what I gather noise wise the 20b is the best for noise suppression. But I just got rid of my single bore hush which I have had for ten years and never had need for hush power. I get rid and few weeks later I need one lol. Cartridges were hard to source locally for it though as most shops just stock 12b and 410 in hushpower if you lucky. Plus I have the steel thing to think about. So would be ideal to just whack one on me either of me 12 gauges. Sounds like it might be the way to go
  7. Has any one tried the moderators from hushpower and fitted on an existing gun? I sent them an email and apparently I can fit one on me hatsan semi or me old pump Still at 180 quid not cheap. The reason I ask is I picked up a new duck perm and noise is an issue. So might sort some thing during the summer
  8. Cheers folks think I will have to let this drop and get on the pigeons end of Jan lol
  9. So does high water mark include tidal rivers ?
  10. The dog was the final straw
  11. Only the last couple of days have we had frosts where splashes have frozen. Same as ferreting by the time the cover has died down the rabbits are back breeding. Out of interest the does the high water mean tidal rivers. In other words can I shoot duck flighting x amount of miles along a tidal river until feb 20. Also I have a splash that when the river rises the tide pushes it up a ditch and into a field, All seems a bit vague
  12. In land splashes for me I am afraid so next week end is the last. Going to be a long summer
  13. Classic example this morning. Pulled up at the splash about 6.30 and ducks all over. The adrenaline was pumping but come first light gone. Very light when we got there with a clear sky and half a moon. Must be a seasonal thing too because early in the season they would arrive first light. All good fun and only one weekend left
  14. Loving my hatsan now I have got used to it. Only complaint is the camo colour lol
  15. Been wondering my self but just had a thought I have a break a way fishing box mmmm
  16. Fair play Grandalf good on you. Got one of them my self the 3 inch and now I have got used to it starting to grow on me. Apart from the camo colour
  17. Yea hobs are more fun for want of better word. But castration makes a huge difference for the better
  18. Ferrets are very entertaining and if you get a hob get him castrated that sorts out the smell and also turns them into puppies so they don't go all hormonal in the summer
  19. bit of sheep wire and thread a bit of local vegetation through it. Put net on the inside and your good to go. Roll up and leave tidy in the hedge for next time. Work a treat our hides have been invisible using this method of late. Been using two bit cable tied to give what ever height we want. Can bend it over it needed.
  20. no no 12. Looking forward to getting my eye in on the pigeons ready for the ducks next season
  21. I did actually ok gunsmith it is. When I look down the breach the barrels look very wide inside compared to my other sxs. Quite intrigued to find what has been done as it is a nice gun
  22. Only asked because of the pattern side of things I may get gun smith to check it out of curiosity or buy a gauge off amazon
  23. Can't you spend a few minutes with a digger and stick a ditch across the entrances just big enough to stop a 4x4 or even a few trail cams on the entrances to get a few number plates. Poaching is one thing but showing no respect and flattening crops is another. Daft ****
