  10. well said that man. your health is you wealth. if you live with someone in the family who has a terminal illness, you quickly realise money isn't everthing and we spend too much of our time chasing after it
  11. yes your right mate kero is clean compared to other oils but when it comes to heating appliances etc its nowhere near as claen as gas and therefore reuires regular maintenance.
  12. good point there fella. the morons with dogs taking deer and everthing else that moves are still about. when the fields are cut there out just as we are. re assuring to see the old bill trying to sort them. ringing them to tell them ypour about is a waste of time as been said but when you do they wiil give a log number which can save everyones time well done on getting the foxes swiss nice brace there mate
  13. yes mate pm your payment method pm sent
  14. hi cos. the oil is keroene heating oil and is stored in a tank situated in the garden. the oil will need to be regularly ordered from a local supplier. in my opion mains gas is the better option as its cleaner cheaper and more conveniant. sometimes however heating oil is the only option other than l.p.g gas which is a no no due to cost in most cases. oil heating systems are just as effecient as gas in many cases but do require regular servicing as oil is a dirty fuel. if the heating is oil fired try to find if it has been checked by an oftec registered engineer who will also provide a report of the condition etc of the system. regards aga.

  16. hello mate i recently aquired a midland sxs a member on here called matone was very helpful when identifing the proof marks. mine turned out to be potentially 100 years old. it has no hammers but is very tight and in good nick. mine had the midland, birmingham and london stamped across the barrel rib. if you can get a good photo or even draw the proof marks i'm sure that a member like matone could help you. atb aga man

  20. bet it don't look so pretty when you hit a deer at speed
  21. difficult to say fela. depends a lot on the wind and pigeon movement. i would be tempted to shoot with my back to the footpath ie along the wood edge. i would make sure there are no pheasant pens in the woods and speak to any householders you are firing towards. speak to them and let them know what you are doing
