  1. They are not insured either, the crown covers it, just like hmrc, mod etc etc etc.
  2. Left hand gun and cover right eye? Mrs is right handed but left eye dominante, she just covered her left eye, worked a treat, .she has since had laser treatment and has no issues.

Hw99s and & hw45. Should easily fit the budget and are great. So great you won't let anyone else use them.
  4. Sounds like a French rabbit stew. Make as normal then remove the meat, knock it off the bone, add back to the stew then cream, reduce a bit.
  5. Wouldn't fancy being a white sparrow, expect your stand out in the hedge row. Can't have many sparrow hawks that way. Got an albino squig that visits my garden quite a lot.
  6. Just shoot for the enjoyment off it and you'll get better why worry about a measley prize. When your aaa then you may repay your cartridge cost. Personally I would ask him for some tips.
  7. I suspect that the second trigger sear is in need if adjustment and the recoil form the first shot sets the sear and then fires the second shot. Easy fix and best done quickly. Had similar on my lanber.
  8. Record away, its quite legal, un less your a public body than various laws apply that I won't go into.
  9. Cheers Welsh. Stripped and cleaned today, didn't need it but for peace of mind. Will test it on the pigeons this weekend.
  10. Between the two there is no difference but given the choice I prefer the plastic. Wads. Seem to reach further and harder.
  11. Can't stand that behaviour at all, told the chap at runs a syndicate that I was not happyv with the piles of carts and dead pigeons and pointed out that on my permissions the farmer would sack me on the spot, he shrugged his shoulders. Thankfully I'm moving home and picking up my old perms to boot. Manners cost nothing.
  12. Use them as decoys, never had an issue with taste provided they are breasted that night which mine are.. As above just pluck any fly ridded feathers off when u get home.
  13. Never needed more than 20. Ever. Had some amazing days. Just get under the flight lines and be where they want to feed. You need to watch them before to plan it. Half hour on the day don't count but if that's all you can do then you'll have to make do.
  14. Bought it, not a mark on it, perfect condition, cased with 4 chokes. Very happy. Don't think it has done much work at all from appearances.
  15. Good advice londonluke, there's plenty more, a few sleepless nights and your right as rain. Chin up and do more of the stuff u like to do.
  16. Lets not derail the thread guys, I'm looking at buying this tomorrow, just wanted a heads up on what to look for.
  17. Not the end of the world but was hoping to pop a few thru it
  18. Quick question, I'm going to look at one of these tomorrow, price seems good, the question is is there anything in particular I need to look for.? Any one shot one ? Thoughts? Its 3inch 12 bore, are they ok with steel on occasion. Mainly pigeons and clays but the odd duck should it fly over. Comments apppreciated.
  19. Easy last longer than 20k, my lanber had more than that last year by me and the Mrs and I bought it second hand, no noticable wear and tight as a drum. I know of guns over 100 years old (as do many of you) tha that are going strong.hate to think how many the biakal had thru it.

    Conifers

Mine didnt burn at all, ended up shredding the cuttings and mixing into the compost. Took âgés. Maybe the bigger bits go up ok. either way won't have them again.

    Conifers

Wouldn't have them again though, too awkward full stop, they don't stop growing, don't burn, the cuttings don't compost and as stated above die for no apparent reason. Privet or a nice fence. Your garden would thank you for it.
  22. You won't run a house but u will reduce your electric bill. Takes a while to pay for itself though.
  23. Careful she doesn't take up shooting, mine did, feels like a second mortgage some times.
  24. Try running a check outside normal office hours, not many feo's work night shifts, as they are the only one to have access its far easier to carry a copy of your cert. Why make life complicated.
