Sporting gun has been taken over by another publisher by the look of it. The proof reading must be nonexistent as there are loads of errors. There are less competitions and they have stopped taking letters to the editor. I will not be renewing my subscription when it runs out. Countrymans weekly is now every two weeks and is a good read

Yes could use on mine but mate wanted it to look vintage like it was. It is a sort of waxed string That does look like the right thing, think I will order a couple and try. Thanks don’t think I would have found them
-
Any members know what the type of string is called that was used in vintage pull through. Mate has one of these and needs new string and I have old awry one that could do with repair. It is a hemp type and about 3mm but don’t know what it would be called or where I could get some

Have a look at the address that sent the email, if it is from a normal looking email address then just reply with something like “ This email has been removed and reported as a scam attempt “. This often leads to them stopping

So we had our vacation couple of weeks ago, 3 days later I started to get what I thought was a cold. Last Sunday was feeling rough so did a test and had got covid for the first time. It has been like a really bad cold with sore throat and headaches. Still testing positive today but line is getting fainter , I am sure that we picked it up at the vaccination clinic because we had not really been anywhere else. Been a real pain as with this lovely weather we want to get out, but at least should be ok the start beating week on Friday

Help please. 1 1/2" diameter thread identification
Stimo22 replied to Eyefor's topic in Craft and DIY Section
If it is that old it could be a special thread to that company, Many company’s did this. Attached is a chart of the various threads per inch. There is also a Brass thread that the railway used a lot and is 26 tpi. You need to use a tpi gauge to measure, you can’t be far from me near Milton Keynes if you need it measured -
