What you mean BASC do what we fund them to do. Why on earth would they want to use their (OUR) money to fight for shooting. Just chuck out a few sound bites about how unhappy they are with it all & how it's unfit for purpose... what good is a shooting group with no teeth or backbone. Yep that's the way i read it so you may get away with a pump seems to be a bit of a gray area, & i would not want to be the one to test it in court. Most of the time by the time you get a 4th or 5th shot off the ducks/geese would be out of range. But then again i have shot five pigeons one after the other with my M2 so is doable . But the question would also be is it sporting to shoot ducks with an S1 ? We have some strange laws in this country 🙄.

You can't use an S1 for wild fowling as is against the wildlife & countryside act . Even if you only put two in the mag or put a plug in the tube.

Yep best way would be to chop it in for a S1 shotgun as you would need to send it off for reproofing as going from S2 to S1. And depending on what make/ model you want S1's are cheaper then S2's. Can pick up a Stoger MK300 for £500 or s/hand M2 for £800 odd. On a side note i have a S2 Escort & can unscrew the mag tube with no problem but as i have a fac M2 don't have a need to.

It was her insurance company's repair shop not mine, that said i had to pay excess. But you are right my insurance may go up next year which is a croc as none fault & all cost's met by her insurance.

Had some lovely young lady pull out of a carpark with out looking straight into my front wing late at night last week. She was a bit shaken & said see didn't see me. Exchanged details & her insurance company called me the next morning to ask if i would like them to take care of all the repairs etc, to which i said yes as seemed to be the easiest option. About 20mins after i had spoken to them their recommend repair center phoned to say they had passed my details to the branch who will carry out the repair & they would call me to arrange collection of my car. Two days went by no call, so gave them a call to be told due to sickness they can not collect it till next week fine not a problem i say, then they tell me i have to pay £750 excess on completion of the repair. I told the guy well that's not going to happen as she hit me well that's what her insurance company have told us he says. So with the right hump i call her insurance company ,after 20mins on the phone to a call center in India all sorted with nothing to pay. Never heard that before none fault claim on their insurance & you have to pay the excess ? No blooming chance.

Where i shoot is near Upminster. But see a flock of around 50 most days flying over my house as have a few blocks of woodland near by.Took my daughter to Gatwick last week & was 100's flying in & out of the trees along the side of the M23.

Young uneducated birds maybe? Good work, i hate the things shoot as many as i can when out.
