  1. Yep Delete the evil FB..... Problem solved compared to the infinite problems having FB gives.....
  2. I do it to get away from the wife n kids --- hideaway in my little play area...
  3. Scully Genuine needs are accepted-- I think the gist here is the 'not needed' members of society who through their additional baggage for whatever reason see it as a necessity to have a scooter when maybe a healthier / less lethargic lifestyle in the first place wouldn't require their use..... Ok, that's the most tactful way I can put it, otherwise I would have said '**** *** **** as that's what we all think
  4. Nope Polygon-- locals r very excited about it. Youngsters even more as Primani.... Sorry Primark is open up there.
  5. UKPoacher Have to agree 100% with your observations. Although in the 30 odd years I have been coming here, I think the teenagers now are beginning to 'fatten up' a bit- so maybe also a problem of the future? Regarding your neighbour- you sure we don't live next door to each other as we had the same- was only the other year she stopped driving her 1985 Peugeot 205 due to her eyesight.
  6. Big big sigh------ UK, home of the mobility scooter. It's one of the things I notice most ( that and potholes) each time I come back over from Frogland. We're of to a large shopping mall next Monday and I forecast that I will see possibly one max- and that will be for the genuinely Handicapped person. Why has it got to the situation whereby rather than walk or struggle but still get the exercise, that people wish to use these things ( genuine reasons of course excepted) Just like Orange Wednesday's ( yes I know they don't exist anymore), why don't we have 'Mobility Tuesday' , whereby they can only be used on that day to allow everybody else the safety of walking around without being rammed by those things.
  7. Really depends on the method? I have received items in five days up to 28 days
  8. Have a takedown at one of our places. If I take the Revo Pump then I also have to take the tool kit to remove the stock. Not a great prob but at all. It's as mentioned above- Action plus mag tube is longer than the barrel

    EU In or out

Got a love e comparison of Norway and The Swiss.... How many of you have visited, OK re-phrase it- gone on a blender there? Try £7-8 a pint - cost of living is horrendous but wages a commensurately higher I must admit. Immigration via Turkey? It will happen in the EU or out, your not telling me that the UK will be turning away 'visitors' with valid passports wether 'IN or OUT' !

    EU In or out

Just to balance the numbers ----- IN
  16. Received mine on Friday. Silly me thought I could pop down the local diy store for a better but being France the answer was 'non' Have ordered from a French hunting site( eBay for guns) at the grand total of £5.34 for two including charger- hopefully it arrives next week. As per the comment above- construction in aluminium seems really good.

    EU In or out

Why oh why is everyone so hung up on the Immigrant issue? Do you really think that an 'out' vote will suddenly cause a reduction at our borders? We have the toughest borders in Europe by the very fact that we are an island-the 'out' vote would only stop/reduce those without automatic entitlement to live here- but can you really see our 'lovvies ' allowing a total block on new arrivals? Some of my work is in 'non EU' Norway and trust me-there are just as many 'new arrivals' Also, things won't change overnight!!!!! I dislike the thought of EU subsidies for farmers being withdrawn as many struggle as it is- this loss and free trade export loss will drive the basic cost of produce UP in the UK- at the moment we are enjoying a near record low level of inflation which is of course driven by 'average cost of a bundle of goods'. What I would like to see is a basic fact sheet of what we get out of the EU and also a simple this is out financial contribution and our financial benefits........
  19. Gordon Where is is published? Is the 'illegal' conversions related to the L1A1's that he was providing and the once a sec 5 always a sec 5 arguement ?
  20. Wonder if my 'missing' Star 9 milly was among this haul?
  21. Because of you UD m on a site looking at BP rifles. All BP pistols/rifles are on 'free sale' , guess they believe the days of robbing banks Wild West style are well and truly over. Still have some cleaning solutions from my last .36 nickel pistol that I had-- must say I didn't enjoy cleaning the thing, looked like a Victorian chimney sweep after a mornings play
  22. Congrats I'm waiting a few more years for my little ones to come to their first shoot. And motorbike races , boating, skiing--- the list goes on
  23. Got to love the UK guidelines Any slug is going to be lethal if used - so why not allow something which will be more effective ? Prefer my piggies to drop from multiple fragments than a single piece of deformed lead. The 'sans plomb' lead free Dupleks are designed to have a central core but on impact the surrounding petals split in a star pattern to impart major damage. A certain Clay champion in one of his Boar videos in the UK holds the pack up to the camera - not sure where he obtained them from?
  24. HP Over here can purchase the Hornady 'Duty' or for fun the Hornady 'Zombie' Why? Because I can before anyone asks :-)
