  3. But even with all that they can keep and retain police officers- I would not be one for all the tea in china or a decent pension! nephew has just got his warrant card and on second year of probation spends more time dealing with those with mental illness or social services issues he doesn’t get much time for proper policing! He loves it but mentally he says he can’t see being able to cope for 30 years ! The politicians pension scheme is still one of the best. regards Agriv8

  9. The civil service is drive By the policies of those in power if they can’t agree how can the civil service implement change ? Dvdn then laws have to be passed by the lords both upper and lower house are driven by those that can afford lobbyists - add to that that we can’t even decide what laws we are abiding by . like problems recruiting and retaining police officers the civil service is no better . guess I am saying if you cut away all the rotten wood have you got anything left ? The system needs fixing the uk is not a limitless resource and we need to start looking after those that have paid there taxes before those that know who know how to play the system. Agriv8
  10. Here is mine last gossip at the end of a season ! I liked the fact that they we all sat in the sun. My old man is in there and another reason the photo was taken as not sure how many years he will keep going but he lives to hobble about and flank in and ensure we are aware of the shots to bag ratio ! he saw me drop one which was good while stood with my youngest ! 17. Youngsters seem to think that food on the shelves is magic with few wanting to go into farming. with everything stacked against the small farmer it’s a lot of hard work for little remuneration and risks outside your control can wipe any small profit out! Always thought a farmers cooperative may help smaller producers! Agriv8
  18. It sounds like a fantastic morning but any clay shooting at the moment while not raining is a big bonus. i have been clay shooting with my 16 bore side by side rather than switching gun between clay buster and game gun. well done for having a freshen up before the big day don’t know why more done do it ! we are expecting a similar detailed report on beater day btw Agriv8

  22. There is a paper trail that a lot of people will be wanting to distance themselves from. Those in management and directors need to feel the eyes and ears of a court room as the post masters did !
  23. So reading into that this is not smoke room gossip or whistle blowers emails. this is in minutes and papers presented to board members. So directors, managers must have signed off the papers? This therefore points that board members are complicit in the whole saga ? Agriv8
