Interesting? I would suspect the outside barrel dimensions to be identical … so a factory Skeet and bored out full should be the same? Happy to be educated otherwise if not so … Other thought would be to buy the whole gun … they’re cheap and can be used for spares… That’s why I’ve a couple of B2000’s in the cabinet.

So … it looks like my upcoming trip to Scotland for Salmon will be not be helped by very low river levels and a lack of rain in the forecast. My attention is being drawn to the river mouth around dawn as I know there are Sea Trout and the odd grilse to be had there (also a Bass or two). Has anyone down this type of fishing (on the fly) and any tips?

My local river hasn’t come to life yet. Had a few bows off the lake whilst practicing my double hand casting. Had a day chasing silver on the Wye (Monmouth), but no luck. Hope to get my first wild ones of the season this weekend. Work will take me to Utah next month, and I’ve extended the trip to get a couple of days in there 👍 Had a day ticket there a few seasons back … very enjoyable 👍

I’ve a 30” Invictus and managed to pick up a 32” set of barrels quite cheaply. Wouldn’t want to be without either set now.

Nice to see how this has developed … still have a tub or two of Longshot so might give it a try!!

I try and mark the birds I’ve shot so I can take them. Feather through the nots or a plucked head. Not always possible, but it helps.
