  1. Every days a school day. Makes sense but that's unusual with firearms legislation!
  2. Just like screw cutting anyone can chop a few threads into the end of the barrel and use it without having it reproofed but if you want to sell it it needs to be reproofed.
  3. I think shed possibly struggle with the crossman she's made out of pipe cleaners mainly 😂 the compact looks the job but at £180 if she loses interest I'd be a bit annoyed.
  4. Darling step daughter has decided shed like to have a go at pony club tet, which includes a shooting element. From what I can glean it's free hand 10m. Now she's a faddy ****** so I don't want to sell a kidney to buy one and I've also got to budget for buying myself some new guns! Any recommendations for a nice accurate little gun that she can practise with and learn how to shoot and be safe at home, that isn't going to cost he earth.
  5. Evening boys and girls. More curiosity than an actual desire but has anyone fitted an after market stock to a CF2 rifle? I know the top of the action is similar to the remington 700 but does that carry on to the underside too? I'm sure if I wanted to I could send it off to Form Rifle stocks and he'd make me one but is there an off the peg option so to speak.
  6. I was explaining to a mate the other day when I told her I had a pig list. I recommended Snatch and Hannibal together the idea of what I was on about. An angry/frightened/protective/hungry sow will make a mess of you! Their teefs is sharp!
  7. Well according to the news Megan has scampered off to Canada. I wonder if old lizzie phoned her up and gave her the choice **** off or have a car crash.
  8. I remember them they were frigging awful days but they had their perks 😂
  9. 😂😂 I imagine its the classic scenario that so many men end up in mad woman but good in bed and you don't think with your brains. Been there done that!
  10. Similar for me with my now local permission. We were putting in to build a house. Went to the parish council meeting and a farmer was there because he wanted to build a chicken shed. Got chatting and that was it. Few weeks later he was looking for someone to shoot pigeons on his rape. I was laid up with a broken leg but gave him a ring and said I might be able to help out. He'd already got someone so I asked about lamping and he said yeah and gave me a few hundred acres miles away. I kept an eye on his other ground and when we moved next door asked about the shooting. Same bloke was doing the pigeons but nothing else so I got another several hundred acres off him. It works because I haven't really got the time in the day to go pigeon shooting and the other chap doesn't go lamping.
  11. Poor old TT...I definitely thought the same though 😂
  12. Pick ups are OK as cars go but they're big, noisy, expensive to run and repair, there's no boot just the pick up bed which seems like a great idea for all the kids stuff until you have to send a child, sherpa and pack mule in there to find something right at the back. I haven't had a sit in a brand spanker but the last new truck I sat in even though it was top of the range was still very basic and utilitarian, even the armarok. I always liked the Nissan Pathfinder which was basically a navara with seats in the load bed and an extended cab rather than the pick up bed.
  13. I quite like Frankie Boyle, I know he is brutal but he gets away with it by being an angry ginger Scotsman. Ricky Gervais just seems more spoilt brat. You cant get paid to go to someones party and then stand there for 10 minutes going youre a pervert, youre a peadophile, youre a **** and anyway i dont even want to be hereating, i hate you all. There's a scouse comedian I've seen on the Hot Water Comedy Club Facebook page he's very good. But I doubt the Americans would get his comedy.
  14. More chance of a **** job offer the wife than me blow drying a car 😂
  15. Only eaten it the once and the wife mentioned hell freezing over before I could cook it in the traditional way. However i can say woodcock breast on buttery brown toast is extremely delicious.
  16. Instead of stirring up trouble why doesn't the vile little ***** offer some of his millions as a charitable donation to Australia or better still bigger off over there to help.
  17. And as if by magic the light was gone. Didn't really give it a hard time but had a drive about yesterday, turned it on to go lamping last night and the light was off again.
  18. I liked the office when it came out but I cannot stand the insidious little worm of a man. All his anti shenanigans aside his performance at the golden globes last night was at best rude. He was trying to be funny and failed miserably.
  19. My first renewal with dyfed Powys was abysmally slow and went about 4 months beyond my expiry buy to be fair to West Mercia they've been sharp with everything they've done for me. The longest I've waited was about 7 weeks for a variation 1 because it was an unusual request and the girls in the office couldn't process it without a visit and 2 my FEO had been off following some surgery for 7 weeks and so he ended up with a back log.
  20. I've got a photon XT fitted with a doubler and it's perfectly acceptable. I extremed one with the adapter and camera lens and the results were very impressive crystal clear day and night but I wanted a change, sold it and then bought another one again because the other NV I wanted had sold. The pard looks very impressive but definitely needs the extra illumination to get out to decent distances. Personally I'm considering a pard 007 add on and moving away from dedicated NV. Also one to consider would be the Vulpine Mk3 from ludicrous lumens, they're made by a friend of a friend and he says they're VERY good, with a decent illuminator on top they'll see as far as your scope can see. If you join Foxstoppers UK on Facebook they have a discount code I think so you get 10% off or something similar. I have no affiliation with any of them but like I said I'd go add on nowadays rather than dedicated.
  21. Yeah the little goblin is nearly 14 months old now and she's never really slept at night! I might go wild and treat the old girl to a tinkle of the expensive diesel. I do know what you mean about the re gen thing I've heard and smelt it happen.
  22. He'd drop it on his toe and decapitate himself 😂
  23. Have you got a license for those things? They've given my great grand kids nightmares 😂😂
  24. Old Farrier probably not unsuitable for what you want. My truck has done a lot of sitting around with the engine ticking over because my gremlin won't sleep unless she's in the car and the engines on. The moment i switch it off she wakes up! Managed to leave it at home today and take the wife's car so it'll be Monday before I can do 60 in 4th. I need it to do another 20k ideally before I get rid of it because I can't afford to replace it! And I'm quite fond of this little truck.
  25. I had to check this wasn't a @team tractor post 😂
