  1. I'm not sticking up for Huawei at all, but the fact that if you have Facebook they record literally everything you do. Your phone calls they log ( not through Facebook but the actual phone), your address book, they track you, your messages they keep, pictures ect ect and tbh most people actually post this online anyway. Same as Google, hell they pretty much know every thing you do as 50% of the market is Android based. Through Google apps. Which you signed up for. And Apple, for that matter. Exactly the same. So to the point that a Chinese brand is collecting data from a person who cuts hedges for a living, has no social life, is on zero media sharing sites (apart from a few forums), they are welcome to get bored. I'm not happy about it but hey I just use a proxy for most stuff online. Plus I have zero trust in a American report against a business competitor as they are selling a **** load of tech, which the yanks, Japs and Koreans have had the lions share for years with over priced goods.
  2. That's why I mentioned the path it took. Can't of hit anything solid although it went through the 2 sets of bone, although a squirrel shoulder blade isn't like a badgers.
  3. Tell you what, that pellet is in good shape still considering its path. I know it's only small bones it might hit but those jsbs do the job alright
  4. I can understand both of your view points. To me when a fast projectile hits a target, depending on its core, I'd expect it to expand on impact and make a huge channel after. But the otherside of me says why doesn't it just drill a clean hole straight through? Realisticly every shot is different, every round of a certain density, and every bone, sinew and muscle a backstop to slow a round down. I'd say it's more down to ammo density and type/shape than power/speed. Was this helpful. Nope - but with your last question, would I expect a more powerful shot to have gone through? Definitely, as I assume it was a 12ft/lb that did that shot and got that far, if it was laying just under the skin, I reckon another 2ft/lb would of punched through.
  5. I was waiting for them I'm not going to lie. Heaven forbid that he crossed a garden, followed him mother into my workshop to put the tumble dryer on and touched a gun on my workbench whilst I was having a dump. I am definitely going to hell and my kid taken off me ?
  6. It did bring out the grain nice what ever the hell it is. Was hoping it's crayon but it's gotta be some kind of marker
  7. I'm in the **** here, my uncle has given me a airsporter to clean up for him and whilst my back was turned my 3 year old decided to draw a line on the stock. Any ideas how to get it off?? I've tried wd40, no good, just had a go with thinners which worked to a point but I'm bricking it as I reckon it would take the finish off as well. The stock was immaculate until this happened. And it's that older BSA kinda varnish finish. Don't think re oiling would match. Any ideas on what to use??
  8. Ive had 2 now. Did have the original 'mate 6' then a Samsung S5 but got offered my current phone a mate 10 pro. Leica camera is outstanding (think 21 MP and read the reviews, it's aimed more at the user that knows how to use a camera properly, but I've no idea with the settings and leave it on auto) 4k video recording and it's got roughly a 2 day battery. It's ace. I loved the original and the Samsung tbh but moving onto this its so fast. Not to big in the hand either whereas the p20 was a bit too big. After handling and playing with the likes of s8s and iPhones this kicks *** by a long shot. As said read some top 10s this is in the top 5 usually. I got mine via O2 about 2 months ago, was on offer for no down payment for the phone, 10gb data, unlimited messages and calls for £32 a month on a 24month deal. But after 3 months you get a £360 cashback effectively making it cost, I think, £24 a month. Oh it's got 6gb ram and 128gb storage. I've about 60 albums on and about 1/4 full ?

  15. Stupid question Which one? Can't even find a direct number for Dorset firearms
  16. Hi all Quick question As I've mentioned before I've moved to Dorset and been here a while now. I've informed the police of my move but never had so much of a response of a email, phone call nothing. Sent multiple letters via post and email. Ive bought and sold guns since being here and informed my last firearms team who were brilliant and responded straight away (Dyfed Powys at llangunnor) who informed me it's all on record and not to worry as they will pass on the information. Anyway the point I'm getting at is that my licence is nearly full and I need a extra page as I fancy having a clear out soon and fancy some new toys ? Who should I apply to? Dyfed Powys or Dorset? My licence is still under Dyfed, as I'm now glad I didn't get it sent in for the address change with the lack of response time (2+ years) and Dyfed usually respond the same day. On the other side is I'm due for renewal in Jan, shall I just get it all out the way and get a fresh licence that way?
  17. Used to get that free from pallets years ago. Tough wood.
  18. I usually stay in nant peris, in the campsite opposite the pub (next to mountain rescue base), but this time stayed at llanberris. Didn't bother doing any trekking this time as I couldn't be ***** carrying the nipper. So done a load of castles and shell island. I love it up there, used to go 3 times a year before moving to England
  19. I used to live in cenarth and would watch this every year. But never appreciated it as a kid. Sat there watching the struggle was better than anything you watch on tv
  20. Stayed in Snowdon for a few days and had a wonderful walk around betws. First time I've seen salmon jump in years. Think they were salmon and not sewin. Spent a good half hour watching.
  21. If you saw the marks left behind at the end, you'd think it was a ****** up horse ?
  22. Go up the tip and get the slats out of a old bed frame. Planed all around ready and usually quite strong. Some might be wide enough to do the 3" you need. Failing that I've used a old pallet denailed and sawn to size.
