  1. Couple bottles of gin and a whiskey on the go. Bring on Christmas!
  2. Polystyrene on a folding makeup mirror from the misses . Spit on it and try different directions. Works a treat. Don't get the bendy mirrors tho
  3. They are suppose to be here in town (Gillingham). Never seen a sign or where the post code says they are is an estate agents. I wanted one but didn't want to pay postage as I work within 1/4 mile.
  4. Bought mine 2 months ago Shall watch to see how this unfolds
  5. Grab a branch and pull in the opposite direction to which it has grown. Willow snaps off incredibly easy. If it is, don't leave it sit to season near water, it will reshoot and root out before spring hits then you'll have to start all over again. I hate the stuff, but as others have said, it's free, burns alright and splits easy when fresh. If it's eucalyptus leave it season for a good while as it burns a bit oiley and will leave deposits in your chimney.
  6. 😂😂😂😂 I just clicked on the link The photo where there's a group of workers and the caption has to points out which one it is. Yes it's the big ugly bloke in the dress standing out like a sore thumb! I can't believe they had to point him out Cheered me right up, even the misses had to have a gander to see what I was chuckling at.
  7. Yep got one. Excellent bit of kit, came with spares, and just as easy as the fx and webleys I sold on. Just from what I understand is don't try doing 200bar in 1 sitting as the air and seals will get to hot. Would buy another if needed, but doubt I will
  8. Well I've never had a gun fit me right as I'm like a orangutan! 6'6" 14 stone, neck like a giraffe, and if I've measured right (inside elbow/crook to first joint back from tip of trigger finger) my lop is 16 1/4". Never had a gun fit me nice which is why after 100 clays my cheek bone hurts but I've learned the hard way how to hit. BTW nice looking gun, lovely scroll work, not too ott
  9. Spread a load of peanut butter on a bit of hardboard. Makes em stand still to eat
  10. Anybody seen that franchi in the private sale section? I think I'm in love 😍
  11. Yea it will be fine. I often use a rifle slip for my pump which sticks out 2-4". Can't say I walk round town like that mind.
  12. Yea, sold my longbow years ago and that cost over £20 with parcel force
  13. I was a traffic warden for the council (not private) before my current job. If it was in a hospital and not highways controlled roads, those lines they paint can mean anything they want. As far as I remember only highways enforced lines are law, but on private land (so to speak), can mean ditto to blue badge holders or anyone. But parking out of bay, was a ticket to all unfortunately. It's easy to say this after, but get photo evidence yourself of why you did what you did, customise the shot in your favour as it works both ways. Fight it, its only the cost of a stamp, and sites like that Martin money fella have plenty of advice and if I remember a lot of templates you could use.
  14. Used to drive them a lot about 3-6years ago (used to drive for hertz) 1ltr 3 cylinder 110+bhp! You'd think it was a joke car being a poxy 3 cylinder but they go like stabbed rats, fuel was OK (never more than 45mpg) and they handled lovely. Nice and tidy inside, apart from ford's crappy carpet that frays to high hell after about 4th hover. Then it looks tacky and holds grass like velcro. My issue is, can a little engine take the prolonged abuse? I doubt it. I'm pretty sure they put that engine in a mondeo we had in too. Went ok, but fuel was about 30mpg. Honestly IMHO out of all the small cars I used to drive and the ones we took to the garage the least it was fabias. Not everybody's cup of tea but a cracking car I've recommended to friends and some still have years on.
  15. It seemed to me,' said Wonko the Sane, 'that any civilization that had so far lost its head as to need to include a set of detailed instructions for use in a package of toothpicks, was no longer a civilization in which I could live and stay sane. (Douglas Adams, So long and thanks for all the fish) No offence intended, but if a label is needed on everything, especially to not eat lead pellets, Id feel like wonko here 😂
  16. Typical, just bought that in asda
  17. I use turbo on my phones, but tbh I've no idea why. Just got told I should so I have done
  18. Cheers mate think my mate got hold of you in the end
  19. In a slip, probably not. But broken down and on the way to a clay shoot, or off for a days wonder, why not? If I was that paranoid of everything that went on around I wouldn't walk or drive never mind ride. In all fairness anybody who lives in a town maybe should be more conscious with address, but carrying it broken down in a bag on your back to your bike is no different than carrying it to your car. In fact if it's broken down, people won't even know compared to a slip which you'd put in the car, as you probably wouldn't break it down.
  20. As for security, it's legal if it's covered then why worry? Maybe because it's the arrogance in me, but if I'm 100% legal I couldnt give a flying **** about other people's perceptions and will happily carry it on my back. As for other road users and me getting hit and breaking my gun, I'd be more upset that my bike was in bits as I'm not known for having expensive guns. Or bikes for that matter...
  21. Just asking as these are getting slightly heated, would you trust your .25 to take a fox at 50-75 yards? My .22 with mini mags has accounted for dozens at this range but would be interested as I'm also thinking maybe I need a fac air in my cabinet for spaces and ranges where my .22 wouldn't be ideal and probably closer than that. As I side not I have never used a fac airgun before.
  22. My mate is after a stock for his laurona o/u. Not sure what model but it's a fixed choke, double trigger, 28" barrels, 3" mag. Thing is the stock has been shortened then extended. The extension has been taken off as it was poorly done with a lip and the new wood sanded the wrong way. It looked awful. Thought id ask here first before sending 'bosher a message. These are photos of the stock he would like to replace. I've added loads as he/we couldn't find a model name anywhere on it. Any help gratefully received
