  1. Thanks for that I'll get on it on the weekend. Wanna get it on the clays again but after jamming and not ejecting I was maybe thinking of selling and getting something else (pump tho!)
  2. Not sure if I've joined as I went through the first 30 pages slobbing like a kid in a sweet shop. Here's my beaten up, rough as a horses *** savage stevens mod 79. My go to gun. Can't beat racking a beaten up pump. Can anybody on here give me any advice on cleaning/stripping it as all I've ever done in the last 10 years is spray it with wd40 and she's jamming a bit now. Used to be faultless but she really needs a clean internally ?
  3. That's a very good price for a very good saw.
  4. Returned back to Huawei as my mate 7 lasted about 3 years then I got a Samsung S5 which lasted a year. Rubbish. Now using the mate 10 pro. The p20 pro is the next step up and I love this phone so it can only be good. Get one they are great phones once you get used to them
  5. Mines 28". Think that's the common size and mine looks no longer or shorter
  6. My favourite gun in my cabinet. Don't see them for sale often and this is the flash version with a rib ?
  7. Again another cracker. Can't really go wrong with airarms. Only used the 200 at shows ect but had a s410 and used to put crab apples on the barbwire fence and shoot them from 50 yards.
  8. Yes I'm in Dorset too. If you ain't in that click of mates of the keepers or so and so, you ain't getting in. I've learned its big areas run for shoots and if you ain't known don't come knocking! I still do tho , I just offer my gardening services in exchange. That didn't work either. They really don't like strangers some of them.
  9. Depends on your budget. Stihl if you want to buy once. Bloody expensive but worth every penny. We only use Stihl at work and have the best of their range in every thing and we use them daily. They just keep going and we hammer the hell out of em. But I do personal garden work on the side and buy secondhand Stihl where and when I can afford it, but I recently bought the titan multitool from Screwfix. It's got the strimmer head, brushcutter, pole pruner and the hedge cutter attachment. Oh and a meter extension. Cost £150. Heavy machine but if you use is sensibly it's sound. Plus I don't need ladders because I keep the weight low, put on the extension and knock off the top at around 8ft. Only thing I'd say about it is the blade looks huge on the website. It's roughly 2ft. Looks a lot bigger online. On another note it will go through 35mm branch's just need to hit it from both sides and give it some muscle!

I shot at a plastic milk bottle at about 5 yards. 3 pellets went in and rest sprayed the area. Brno mod 2. Then put a balloon up about 15 yards away. Took 3 shots to hit it. Personally I think it's a great idea but they were useless through my barrel. Fun tho ?
  11. It turned up a few days ago, bloody misses didn't tell me! Anyway it's spot on cheers mate
  12. Couple of reasons really. Having a .223 limits my chances if I stumble upon a perm which hold deer. By limits I mean screws it?. From my understanding you need hot rounds to be legal for muntjac never mind the sika I see everywhere here? (Can't recall ft/lb or FPS ) also I'd like to learn at some point how to reload, and I'm such a tight wad I didn't fancy a cabinet full of rifles for different tasks. Would just like 1 calibre where I could potter about at sensible ranges, within a budget. Note I'm no sniper either, think the furthest shot I've ever taken was 350meters and was proper chuffed for weeks at that when I hit my mark.
  13. Don't go north Dorset way do you? I've a cheap nickerson o/u, single trigger 12 that I need moving on before August. Listed it on here in April and paid to relist last night on gunwatch but it hasn't shown up. I've knocked the price in half from my original post down to £50. Its in good nick. I just can't afford to go to a gun shop to post as I'm flat out working day and night and nearest place is 40mins away.
  14. I'm -positive- I just caught something laughing at that. Shame. I was enjoying that brew ?
  15. Stealing the thread here but I'm due for renewal soon and have a .223 I never bought. I'd like to swap it for a .308 as I fancy having a go at bisley. Does it cost any thing extra when renewing and doing the variation?
  16. Great idea and obviously works
  17. Did you go down the break barrel route in the end?
  18. Do you glue or tape them together or just put enough in so it's a tight fit sideways?
  19. Same here. Bought a tennis racket zapper. Really enjoyed zapping them the first few days. Now it's a chore as im swiping like a lune every 30 mins.
