  1. Lovely stuff 👍 Between that and the homemade stuff my evenings were quite merry!
  2. In the end I went on eBay and picked up a 5 gun cab for £30. Absolute steal. I would of handed over 3 times that. It's not a bit of junk either, feels as well if not better made than my brattonsound. So, I've now 4 storage safes dotted about. Theirs more holes in my walls than a public toilet door!
  3. Hi before I buy one from the 'bay', i was wondering if anybody within a 20mile radius of Mere/Gillingham had a 5 gun cabinet (or bigger) they want shot of. Cash waiting and condition I really couldn't care less. As long as it's secure and has to be police approved so to speak, I don't care if the paint or rust is flaking off. It will be holding shotguns as well as airguns. Many thanks Matt
  4. I was thinking the same this week. Do I buy a 10 gun and get rid of the 5? Or go buck wild and keep both. I know I'd fill them both. Sensible side says the 10 and sell the 5. Would only need basic security measurement's installed on the house then.
  5. Tbt kits are great. Not heard a bad thing about Welshwilly's either apart from a waiting list
  6. And if they have any drives close, get the clays out and let rip for a hour on shoot days. Nothing like early shots to mess up a drive. But I'd expect an apology soon tbh.
  7. Just put one on the main live. Shouldn't be enough juice in the ignition live cable to actually power the unit up. But being a earthing problem you never know, I'd probably blank off the ignition cable and from the switch back run a second live off the original live (after/from rear of switch) onto the stereo ignition. That way you will be isolating all power to the stereo. P.s that is dodgy but I have done it before and not killed any cheap cd head units yet.... Others hopefully will have a better idea
  8. Find the main live cable going into the stereo, snip it and connect a toggle switch, then drill out the dash and put the toggle switch in. About £2 off eBay. I do it with amps in my vans sometimes (admittedly the ignition cable). This is on aftermarket stereos not oem from factory as never bodged factory stereos. It's not the cure tho, as stated something is wrong. Probs earth as stone park says.
  9. Another vote to ban. Hell I used to drink 5-10 of those cheap 'euro shopper' ones at 35p whilst rearing. Id go to the local shop and used to buy them by the slab. They'd get extra in for me. I'd be fine all day, but as soon as I'd got home I'd turn the motor off and fall asleep on the drive. Misses would come out and wake me up. Then the massive come down (headaches, shakes, dose of the ****s - permanently). Plus the mood swings I had at the time. I have 1 every other day now, but they are addictive, but unfortunately I've a addictive personality
  10. Tried Paignton and Brixham last weekend. Put about 8hrs in for zero. Only saw 1 other guy catch 1. Yes 1. Pretty dire but loads of sandeels about?
  11. I use the £40 ones of eBay. Can't fault it tbh
  12. Right it's looking Mossberg way so far. Wood or plastic stock? And I'm kinda going back on myself now, is it worth going secondhand or should I stick to my guns (oi oi!) and treat myself to a new gun. Dozens for sale secondhand.
  13. Hey what would you lot choose. I've decided I'm gonna sell my savage 79 and a few others and get something brand new for once in my life I've narrowed it down to 2 guns Mossberg 500 Or Winchester sxp. My budget is small which is why I'm not choosing anything flash like a benelli - ideally max £500. I'll use it for clays and game/vermin. Not bothered about gun snobbery, if it works it works! What's your opinions? Matt
  14. Mk2s are alright. Got one myself, never had it jam but did have it go full auto once. I'm not a gun snob, if it goes bang and it drops what I was aiming at I can't see what the issue is. After a couple years, flog it and get a few quid back
  15. I've done a few older models but I never got the screen to sit right. Always felt like a lip to the screen. As always it's when it's new. To be fair my S5 was smashed to ****, literally was cutting my fingers apart but every mm of the screen still registered. Chunks of glass fell out on the edges! Just didn't trust it in the rain so got this.
  16. Oh ******. Just had a quick google, seems it's about 100 quid to get it fixed. Nothing worse than breaking a new toy
  17. I've got 2 @ 20% and have never received a charge, as like you I pay off the full amount every month. High interest but doesn't matter as it's cleared
  18. This☝️ Wallet, phone, fags and keys. When I ain't lost em. I once got told by my boss that I should start moisturising other wise I'll start getting crow's feet. Told him to f off and that id rather look like a cave troll thanks. I was 28 at the time.
