  1. Have to be careful without any attachments, right next to the pumping station where I am haha
  2. I'd read somewhere about that sort of things happening in Africa too.
  3. Ahh you should come to the UK, we'll fill your pockets with sticks of rock instead 😂
  4. Lovely set up 👍 I'd be sticking myself a little camp bed in there too.... Haha.
  5. That's an interesting little table, thanks for sharing that 👍

When you compare that to how many vans/cars/trucks/motorcycles are on the roads every day in this country and the miles covered that's a tiny amount really.
  7. I thoroughly enjoyed the episodes TGS did with @mudpatten, i love the idea and romance of spending a bit of quite time down on the marshes with the possibility of a bird or two. I know a bloke who's a member of one of the local clubs, when I've got a bit more time, finances and fitness to dedicate I might just ask if I can tag along with him.
  8. Wonderful stuff 👍 Every time I read a fowling write up it makes that itch to go out and try it for myself a little worse haha.
  9. Covid hasn't cured laziness. The same people who left their empties on the floor before all this will be the same ones doing it now and they will be doing it long after all this has past.
  10. Thanks for the info, I'd looked at the Lee as the seemed pretty reasonably priced new but have to be honest I wasn't actually looking at reloading 16b when I was looking at them. Thank you for the offer, I'll have to have a look and see if they do 16 and .410 conversions. I'll have to check the mec out properly too.

Nah, just as ignorant as those that do though.

Sorry that's what I was trying to say, if you end up as strawberry jam under an HGV it doesn't matter who's to blame once you dead.

I don't understand that bit myself, while the law might be on their side should they for example come into contact with an HGV, should they end up under the wheels I don't think the law will offer much protection.

I seem too remember one of those police camera action programs where they caught a bloke riding on the path who and jumping a red light, which he denied. From what I remember he ended up in court and the judge said something along the lines of being sick of 'lycra louts' flouting the law and gave him a massive fine 😂 If the started fining when they catch people doing it, along with those that drive with their fog lights on when it's not foggy, the police coffers would be bulging.

Push bikes have got to be one of the most environmentally damaging modes of transport going. Yes, you have the one holier than thou on he's push bike saving the planet, then the dozen cars behind him that rather than crusing along in top gear are crawling in first at higher revs because they can't pass.
  16. I was talking too my cousin a while back, he was telling me he's old man, (passed over a decade ago now) had been hoarding .22 rounds. He'd been buying and hiding them as he didn't want to loose he's ticket. My cousin said when he handed the rifle and ammunition in the feo couldn't quite believe how many rounds he had tucked away.
  17. I know at the start of the lockdown air guns were selling like hot cakes from my local RFD, same as many others. He couldn't get them in quick enough. If we went in again there could be money to be made from second hand guns possibly?
  18. I somehow doubt buying game shot with non toxic loads is going to be high on the EU's list of priorities going forward. There's too much noise from a tiny opposition which are doing a grand job of picking away at our way of life. In my opinion one of BASC's biggest problems is that whether your a member or not they are the 'voice of shooting', like it or lump it. PW probably represents a small but quite clearly diverse slice of the shooting community yet it's always the same handful banging the drum on BASC's behalf, it's not nice to see so many negative posted aimed at a group that's meant to have our best interests at heart but people are clearly not happy with the direction the ship is heading, the posts on this one forum alone should surely tell them something. No doubt this will be seen by some as a BASC bashing post but it's far from it, the more people shouting about the good we do as a community the better, but that only works when we are all singing from the same hymn sheet. BASC managed to drive a big wedge over the lead shot debacle, I can't see how it's benefited anyone other than the anti shooting lobby.
  19. Chance's are those that don't eat game now aren't going to start eating it because it's not been shot with lead. It's as simple as that. We all know that lead isn't the issue, and banning it won't change things a jot because the big supermarkets are more interesting in selling these new 'meat free' products than free range healthy game meat because it's not the in fashion thing to being eating so therefore people aren't going to buy it.
  20. Best of luck, nothing worse than being kept away from doing the things you enjoy doing most.
  21. Thanks for the reply, yeah I have been offered them to try and help with nerve damage. There's obviously the description on the NHS website but you can't beat real world experience. Thanks again for the reply.
  22. Has anyone had the above? How did you get on?
  23. I remember when my ex got her first, a butterfly with 10 or so stars around it. No infection or anything but It was pretty hot in the studio and I think between the nerves and the heat she started to sweat fairly and nearly passed out, tattooist sent me to the corner shop for a mars bar and a can of coke for her 😂 My old man has he's nickname across the top of he's arm, it was done rather deep by a mate at about 14 or so with a gun that hand been borrowed from somewhere that done animal testing, it's still pretty dark and reasonably defined to this day and he's 51 himself this year.
