  1. Since the Benelli is inertia operated and the Beretta gas operated I think not. Completely different mechanisms.
  2. I personally think a .410 is a gun for an accomplished shot. So, I would say go with the 20.
  3. I agree Tony. Kicks do something similar with their HF chokes, quoting the steel rather than the lead equivalent. All very confusing.
  4. I'm guessing that Tony's figures might be based on a choke for an over-bored barrel? Nominal bore size of a 12g is 0.729" and some are tighter (Benelli), so 0.733 would in effect be a reverse choke in a true 12g.
  5. I have one of the same, 26" barrel, which also has a loose fore-end. Fantastic gun which has only ever failed with Hull CompX, they just didn't seem to have enough ooomph to cycle it! Over 30 years old and still working as well as ever.
  6. I enjoyed that. Your videos, and your shooting, are always a pleasure to watch. Please keep them coming!
  7. We all have them Fenboy! I appreciate the effectiveness of calling in some situations and saw a stunning example of this on the Tay last season, but frankly some who use calls just need to learn when to shut up.
  8. Is it not a Montefeltro Comfort, like these ? https://www.guntrader.uk/Guns-For-Sale/results/50a3-d7cf-32e3-e1f9
  9. Not the M2 Essential? https://www.gmk.co.uk/shotguns/benelli/semi-auto Perhaps the Premium Plus which appears to be no longer - I think was also marketed as a Beretta (ES100?) and known as the Pintail in the US. See http://www.shootinguk.co.uk/news/benelli-premium-plus-shotgun-from-gmk-23722 and post 5 here http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/242906-beretta-a300-or-benelli-premium-plus/
  10. Can't your local supplier cut a deal with someone who has stock?
  11. I think they take Mobil chokes (Beretta/Benelli), if so there should be plenty of aftermarket options available.

    I'd be up for that!
  13. Just to add another view, I like Express Supreme Game in 28g and find these softer than the Hull Imperials. I can even shoot the 32g Supremes comfortably in my game gun, in complete contrast to RC Sipe which, though a great cartridge which I use in heavier guns, are downright nasty in this gun. My second choice is Gamebore Super Game, as recommended by Milo.
  14. I think they have too! I have a 686L Beretta purchased new in 1986 and the quality is streets above what they're currently producing.
  15. I think the A300 Extrema has been discontinued but they've now introduced an A350 which I assume replaces it. As said, confusing!
  16. Neither do I, but I do shoot a lightweight gun. I'll second BrowningDJC's recommendation but have also found these to be very smooth and effective http://www.lyalvaleexpress.com/supreme-game-fibre-28-grams
  17. I found the recoil from SIPE Prestige downright nasty in my game gun. Great cartridge though, which shoots very nicely through my Beretta semi auto or my Benelli pump.
