andrewluke
in my opinion it's a disgrace to shoot that many geese and if you don't know what species the white goose is it should never have been shot at. andrew
henry c
They look like Canadas; the numbers not a problem, they can be a serious pest on crops. Just the white one is a bit concerning!
al4x
looks like the farmers pet domestic goose to me but the picture is a little small to make out much, must be a fair heap of geese though that you'd want a very big chest freezer

bjlfishing
great shooting its a ******* joke to shoot that many geese in one go is totally wrong you should be ashamed the basc guide for goose guides recomends five geese per guest max and to say your going to eat them all is ******** aswell 62 geese would fill 3 chest freezers
marlin vs
Not impressive, just looks like slaughter to me, there should be some sort of limit and if there's not, you should have a bit of respect and not kill that many in one outing. Blackbart
So what kind of "geese" is the white one ? If you enlarge the picture it looks like a swan And is bigger than a canada.
Highlander
You won't be but you should be ashamed of yourself. 1 gun x 61 geese and what certainly looks like a swan. The shooting game doesn't need people like you, go play golf or something else! ****!
al4x
well this is the best I can manage with it what is the white one looks domestic to me but I'm not a wildfowl expert Edited December 22, 2009 by al4x

Blackpowder
Loads of feral white geese on lower Tweed, at least there was before all our floods this year, often seen with other proper wild geese including Canadas. A question can different species of geese cross breed and produce a flying white feral goose? Unless there was a sound reason to shoot so many it looks excessive, I know I would have a problem in disposing f.o.c. half that number among friends and family. I suppose filletting the breasts a la pheasant style would be a quick way of processing and fitting into a freezer. Blackpowder
malkiserow
Lads, I know it looks a bit like one but isn't that too small to be a swan? and would someone be stupid enough to shoot one and then even more stupid to post a photograph on a public forum? Surely not.......... Look at the geese behind and then back at the body of the white one..... and shouldn't we let the chap answer before he gets condemed/stoned. I don't know the chap but facts before conviction lads.......
stirky
You should hang your heads in shame and not be posting pictures of a disgusting amount of shot geese. The majority of these geese must end up in the bin or dumped somewhere. I hope you will tell us what you have done with them. You will no doubt try to defend your actions by saying they are pests/crop protection/the farmer wanted them shooting, etc etc there is no excuse for it it should not happen.
