:good: Why so insecure dude? Ive beaten mungler, broken man and Bagsey....none of them are hung up on it!!

When did that happen last? ;)

Pot, kettle and black Baz.

"Fed Up" is a better way to describe it. I am secure enough that I dont have to compare my scores against everyone elses.

Now you see what I have to deal with Mung. I have endured a few tiring years of having my scores constantly and tediously compared by someone who lives in his own super-competitive dream world.

Baz, I had a higher score than Mung last weekend on the first round and I have had a higher score than Mung in the past too. (Note that I say "higher score" rather than "beaten")

I am however realistic enough to know that he is a better shot than me.

Mung has fronted you out for a competition in the past (after you were trying to say that you were better than him) and you bottled it.

Well, the hodent shoot will be the settler of all shooting scores. Championship layout, no one (from the South) can be accused of shooting it before or "learning" it, independant scorers for all teams and a competition event.

I think we should get Jonno to run a "sports" book for the event.

:good::yes: What deluded port addled dream did you conjure up that one?yOURE TALKING OUT OF YOUR HARRIS, I have never once ever stated that I am better than Mungler, or am I under any delusion that i will EVER be better than Mungler even if i shot every week!!! However as you pointed out I have had higher scores/beaten whatever you wish to call it on a hand full of occasions, usually when Andy is off form or is messing around or he is in his "oh s o d this, I cant get a decent score im going to mess around" kind of moods.

I am an inconsistent shot at best, I dont get regular enough practice to compete with the likes of Carl, Andy and Mark, however, I would also like to point out that you didnt shoot with us all summer due to you residing in Mersea. The first shoot i did with you after summer, it was YOU who eagerly greeted me in high lodge and YOU that was dissapointed to have drawn with ME.

Frankly I have only shot twice with you since so if you are: "Fed Up" is a better way to describe it" its self induced, quiet frankly Ive had a **** time over the last 6 months, so if my scores are poo at the moment it shouldnt be any suprise.

I am happy to have shot an 87 88 90, 91, 92 and 94's in the past, I dont do it consistently but hey cest la vie!! ;)

No one will have shot this course before. It is changed every time. The only time Tom leaves the same clays on is if people want to reshoot a big comp and he may leave them for a week. So don't panic there will be no advantage for the winning NUMPTIES from Auntie :good::yes:

I been worried all week because I shot it with Rob's gun :good: it's done me head in :hmm:

But I have looked high and low and found a gun that feels even better than the Remmy 1100 and I cant seem to miss with it :hmm:

I'm sure I will be back to my usual Gaff prone self soon

a Very lacklustre 65 at the worlsey comp.

Seem to be a bad day for the wind, birds getting blown onto other stands kellbrook style, birds getting smashed into trees.

I must admit the quality of the birds there throwing down there has improved a lot recently, a couple of very tricky stands today.

a tricky simo teal, to name just one.....

Totally agree - the quality of targets is definitely on the up! :good:

Was it busy there today? Did they still have that tricky looper on stand 14?

Very busy, but mostly corporate stuff I think, 14 has been moved, it's now almost in front of that trap, it's around the left hand side if u get me.. it throws a fast l-r crosser and a looper, both pretty straight forward birds the crosser didn't need a lot of lead as it wasn't dropping to fast and the looper, actually need less lead that i thought as i kept taking the nose off it.

Still plenty of no birds and traps coqing up.. I hope they get it sorted for the help the hero's day else people aren't gonna be to happy, esp with some proper prize money on offer.

bad day at local club shoot 43x60 To many midi orange into sky - real eye test - must say today I think there was three or four targets I never got a shot off at - either because couldn't see them or wind had blown them behind trees. -- Shame really as they make a good effort to put good targets on and cock up with colour or not allow for wind we had today.
