GlosGunCo
After all the interest in the new Pulsar DigiSight N550, here one is in use. Excuse my **** poor shooting, I just wanted to get a few images of the device being used at night on the 'net, as many people have been enquiring in to how effective it is. You get fox size target recognition to 200 yards, and due to its 4.5 x magnification, reasonable shot placement to 100 yards with a centrefire foxing set up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkoLyoniUwQ

deputy dog
I wouldn't have put that on the net Glosgun. That didn't promote the sighting system one bit. Just came across as some one shooting really badly at live quarry in the dark just to make a vid . As you said to put on the net. The sight system i personally think didn't look that bad. Either you are a very bad shot, or those sights weren't set up an zeroed properly and you just didn't give to hoots about it. I personally would have packed up and waited till either i zeroed the sight or had enough practice with them. I didn't watch the whole vid because after i seen you shoot at and wound a few rabiits, it was obvious that you didn't have any respect for what you was shooting at . And showed yourself to very irresponsible out in the field. As you said, just to make a vid for the net. This opinon is mine personally. But i would be shocked if other users of this forum didn't think the same thing about the video after watching it. Just gave more ammo for the animal rights Activists. teal27
Yes mate you should be taken them with head shots at around 30-40 yards not stomach shots, you really should be better shot before going out in the field especially with that hi-tech night vision it should make you shoot better not worse, this is not a grilling just experienced people on here giving you some good advice, Just practise

natcot
Excellent vid.....shooting deer with night vision and using a .22lr. Does it get any worse ? Should have gone to Spec Savers!! Oops forgive me, shoudn't have been so quick to be cheeky! Like many others here I didn't watch the whole video as stomach shooting bunnies holds no interest for me, didn't realise it ended with bigger quarry! Doc Holliday
I'm with Deputy Dog on this one (as with most of the others). You really need to respect your quarry and do it the justice of killing it as quickly and as cleanly as possible. I didn't watch all of the video either for the same reasons. Anyone can shoot like a muppet.

He did not shoot at the Muntjac, no, but he was aiming a (probably) loaded gun at it just to show off the scope.
