petethegeek
A couple of chunky JustGiving donations yesterday evening - one from a contributor obviously keen to loose weight - have taken the total through the £4,000 barrier. Looks like ME may be needing a bigger wheelbarrow to take it all round to Great Ormond Street. I still need squad information for: Joeainscow, WRX_Soldier, Malkieserow, Dibs, essexfluke, ELS22, ph5172 and DangerousDave please.
Highlander
Huge CONGRATULATIONS to all those who took part in the NvS battle. You all did well in raising soooo much money for ME (remember he’s Ethics Mafia! ) and no doubt had a great day into the bargain. My condolences (I LMSO) to those who got mugged by the ‘Gay Rights’ stickers and other little pranks BUT you should have expected that from the likes of the Ethics boys! Well done one and all. ME
Hello chaps & chappesses, I went straight from the shoot for a relaxing break on the costa del Mersea Island and have just returned this morning. Despite having a few celebratory beers on Saturday night I struggled to sleep for chuckling to myself about the magnetic car stickers I have just spent the last 30 mins catching up on all the comments and PMs which are very kind It was a shame about the weather on Saturday especially as the day before had been a scorcher up there I was cold and wet (like many others) and thank you all for bearing with it. The squads were larger than promised by the ground due to one of the scorers dropping out at the last minute. (the ground did apologise for that) Next year we will insist on a spare scorer. The craic at the hotel the night before and back at the clubhouse after the shoot was brilliant - reminiscent of my rugby tour days. Thanks again to the unofficial committee - Petethegeek, MM, MC & Nickbeardo for all their help. There was an amazing amount of work that went on behind the scenes to make things run the way they did. The raffle was amazing, it was a tad long I know, but this was only due to the sheer generousity of the people donating prizes. Next year we will try to condense it slightly. I will be sorting the final figures out over the next few days and will contact GOSH with a view to presenting the money raised - I will keep you all informed. Thanks again Matt

majordisorder
Big up to all you guys who organised the day. What a great day and a real baptism by fire for a new shooter. If only WMSG was just round the corner then us southerners might have stood a chance Looking forward to hearing the grand total for GOSH
petethegeek
Dangerous Dave / malkieserow thanks for that - now updated. I believe that just leaves WRX_Soldier, Dibs, essexfluke and ELS22 unaccounted for. It looks like they may have shot with Cat on the Squad With No Name, but confirmation would be appreciated. Be good to have team totals to Standby one...
