Cosd
picked this up today, a bit smart for shooting but hey its a bit of a minter with good history etc and they are a bit of a Billy bargain at the moment, just got to put a decent set of tyres on it and we're good to go. The previous owner was fairly upset it was going to a life where it was going to get muddy Nice looking machine al4x, thinking of getting a 3 door Mitsubishi Shogun myself in the new year. al4x
Nice looking machine al4x, thinking of getting a 3 door Mitsubishi Shogun myself in the new year. you ought to have a try of this first very comfortable and they are a bit of a bargain, this had one owner before being traded into a small dealer who kept it 6 months. Full history 60k on it and its immaculate at the moment cheaper road tax than the shogun and change from 6K

al4x
The only bad point is there's no green oval aye Alex? :look: thats a plus point, really when compared to a green oval there is no competition, a similar age disco is 10grand more and even the cheapest gaylander near me same age and mileage is 2.5K more no competition at all. So far so good 200 miles not used half a tank of diesel yet been foxing in it so got it muddy already  and the best bit is dogs aren't in with you when you've had a muddy day out and they stink. parrots2
Apart from the tyres and the dodgy cammo paint work that's a spitting image of ours - it's not far off the same milage either. It really came into it's own up on the hill after the grouse this morning where a Jeep and even a Suzuki Vitara allbeit on half worn ATs rather than MTs we have on ours really struggled - nearly had to resort to towing them up . I made the effort of taking the camera with the intention of getting a few pics for this thread and forgot all about it and after all the hassle of getting them up there we failed to even get a shot off not a dodgy camo paint job my 4 year old girl did it on the pc for me

garyb
Latest one of mine... Had it about 18 months now, did 11,000 miles in the first year that I've owned it. Paid £290 on Ebay taxed and tested. Since then I've had to Repair head gasket after failure Replace OSF brake caliper Exhaust backbox This weekend I.. Put 4 new tyres on her (Grabbers and BFG) Installed manual AVM Hubs Gets used and abused as a truck for moving my dogs around and for lamping... Been great in the cold / snow, will give it a full service next weekend.

SteveoM
Its the only 4x4 that tries its hardest to get stuck in any wet field and spin all 4 tyres in 4" of snow with out moving in any direction so in all not the ideal shooting wagon for the modern day hunter
