timps
Here is a link for you Timps Travel lodge Ooo its one of those new fangled hotels with room for my horseless carriage. To be fair I would probably enjoy it more as I have never shot there and I love trying new grounds as long as there is the odd interesting target I am happy. Catton would have been an excellent venue if they would do it & not just because I am lazy. But I have shot it so many times it would not be as much fun for me as trying a new place . MC
As long as i dont get the Kreighoff with the very heavy chokes, I dont want to be too tired half way round!!! Coffee on the monitor moment, How is the other pigeonwatch site anyway? I hear they have just got into the Guiness Book of Records for having the longest word association game ever with the least ammount of participants. Teal
After the success of the North v South clay shoot last year, I am pleased to announce that Pigeon Watch will be involved with the organising of the day this year. The day obviously took a lot of preparation last year and I know that in addition to ME's sterling efforts he was ably assisted last year by a great team of helpers, including but not limited to MM, petethegeek, MC and Nickbeardo. Whilst Pigeon Watch will be able to collect payment and book the ground, assistance from others before the event and on the day will again be greatly appreciated, and will help to make it into another great event. The discussions at the moment in the topic are helping to narrow the search down to a few of the most suitable grounds, it already is clear that some names are consistently appearing. Based on this discussion one or more grounds will be contacted to see what they can offer and a decision will be made. Talk of dates and charity is best saved for a later topic

MC
Remember lads there were a few members that came from Scotland last year True enough but at only 40 miles difference from Northumberland it isn't going to be much different wherever you are coming from. Yes it is nearer to me by an hour or so. but does that amke a difference. ME, When do you want me to start on Paulos :yp:

Talk of dates and charity is best saved for a later topic Catton, Coniston, Doveridge and that old one with the huge tower that Cat was referring to a few weeks back would get my vote I'm all for the location "roaming" from year and although Hodnet is undoudtedly one of the best grounds in the country, don't think it should get back to years of N vs S visits. Fair play to the PW admins for stepping up and assisting
