Ricko
Just seen the Argos advert on telly about Christmas, the one with Bing Crosby. I HATE CHRISTMAS. 10 Hates of Christmas. 1. I am an atheist. 2. "The chance to eat nice food", errr sorry I eat nice food all the time. 3. Presents, err if I want something I sell stuff on eBay and use PayPal to buy what I want. 4. "But it's about children", errr, yeah ex-wife lets me phone them on Christmas Day. 5. In the advent of DVD/video I can watch the Great Escape any time I want to. 6. If I want to drink sherry at 10 am with my neighbours, that's what Sunday is for 7. The shops are shut. 8. Everyone is saying, "All the best", yeah right all the best what?? 9. Can't think of another 10. I HATE CHRISTMAS May your "bag" be a full one. Edited October 26, 2010 by ricko

davecooper1
I love Christmas time, good break from work. My lad comes up from London for few days, daughters come, good old Chrismas dinner, few beers and that. Best part is my 2yr old grandaughters face on Christmas day, pressies ect. I am worse than the kids, just love opening the pressies, they buy me mainly shooting stuff anyway. Roll on Christmas. Dave.

CZ550Kevlar
I`m past christmas, however............. i hold great joy in seeing my 4 1/2 year old daughters face when she see`s the snowy footprints santa has made and her seeing the presents under the tree. Christmas means me cooking big meals for the family, my parents i enjoy having round and feeding them a 4 bird roast with gammon cooked in pepsi, however as my wife lost both her parents we have to have her 2 sisters round and her 18 year old nephew so they aren`t on their own at christmas. It`s a case of ups and downs.

DaveK
And another thing. Christmas is a Pagan festival and Even if it was a Christian one, JC wasn't born on 25th December I'm well inside the HUMBUGGERY camp I'm afraid. I hate Christmas with a vengeance. :bye2: :hmm:
