Yorkshire Pudding
Can anyone describe me what Haggis is? I have heard a lot of comments about it, but being down in East sussex, we dont have such a food :look: It's a hairy creature that roams far and wide over the highlands of Scotland . It's quite short with legs that measure between 4"-6" and a little round body . For there size the Haggis can move at a fair rate , roughly about 25-30 mph . Best taken with 35g of no. 5 ! all the best yis yp
Dunkield
Having bought one back from a trip to Scotland, the family love the stuff now. We have it once every couple of weeks or so, we get Macsweens one which seems a pretty good, of the ones that are available to us suverners anyways. Mash and whatever veg floats yer boat, with loads of gravy - yum yum..

Lord Geordie
Gravey on haggis och ya will ruin it laddy Steamed is always best i find the microwave dries it out :look: It's Barley and meat (origionally offal) stuffed into a sheeps stomach (black pudding it AIN'T) but even black pudding if served right is a nice dish in itself. Black pudding with Tam o'shanter sauce lying on a mixed salad bed of lettuce apple strawberries cress etc mmmmmmm. Now of course Haggis is majorly barley meat and a plastic skin but you CAN still buy in the stomach i beleive Tesco sell em :look: Origionally potato and Turnip but most people use Swede now and STILL insist on calling Swede a ****** turnip and it AIN'T a turnip is a small round yellowish white root veg and Swede is a larger root veg with Purple top and yello bottom :look: I have 2 haggis down in the freezer but ya canna beat a fresh one Lord Geordie Edited February 7, 2006 by Lord Geordie
