We have a Boxing Day shoot every year at my local strawbaler, just 40 birds but its free to members and theres a free meal in a nearby pub afterwards so you can't go wrong! :good: I've won it the last two years on the trot but i'm yet to get the trophy which is supposed to be awarded! Maybe if i make the hat trick i'll finally get it

So whos going out on 26th dec?

What will you be shooting?

I know plenty will be having there 'boxing day' shoot a day or 2 late but whos going out on boxing day?

I cant make my mind up what to have a go at!

it will depend on the condition of the birds due to weather conditions, there are plenty of birds falling out of the sky without a shot being fired at the moment,

Not allowed to shoot game on a sunday and as boxing day is sunday i wont be going out.

There does seem a tiny bit of confusion among one or two here, shoot whatever you like on Boxing Day 26 December as long as it isn't Game, it's a Sunday, which is exactly why all the traditional Boxing Day Game shoots will be on the Monday 27 Dec! :good:

Hopefully the confusion you are mentioning isnt directed my way fella. In Scotland you can shoot game on a Sunday and its wise to find out all the UKs laws to stop any such confusion and ending up with egg on face. :good:
