Sprackles
When it was on the news the other night, a former school friend was interviewed who said he(the dead man)was a nice bloke,a very nice bloke! One less street goblin to worry about. I have seen a few similar statements in the press........shortly after the bit where they say he got 9 years for drug offences. As silpig says...in a sad sick way, i'm glad of the circumstances because we have a prohibited crook who has obtained a prohibited weapon and used it.......so much for the handgun legislation taking them off the street. Salopian
Should this thread be reposted under 'Vermin' Lovely to see that another pest has been eradicated, would it be possible for me to be reimbursed for the money I spent in taxes for the vermins 9&1/2 year 'holiday'? Or did he only do 4 and was let out for good behaviour?

The Duncan
licenced gun or not, its still another shooting, and wont help us in the long run.what a good idear banning hand guns, IT may help us legitimate shooters - yet another death by a gun that has been banned. The majority of human shootings in the UK are by banned guns rather than legitimate ones. Answer? Don't ban guns! It doesn't help anything. Vince Green
I don't think he will be missed. But I go with the view that any gun related incident in the news is bad for us in the long run.
Sha Bu Le
Yes, I agree; any incident involving guns whether legal or not, real or fake brings adverse comment against all legitimate shooters. It gives the anti's more excuses to urge for even tighter legislation which wont work. Was the muppet spaced out on something? can't go shooting at the law and expect to walk away...not nowadays. RC45
licenced gun or not, its still another shooting, and wont help us in the long run.what a good idear banning hand guns, Some people still shoot handguns, some people talk from the wrong end sometimes. Maybe they should ban fast cars and religion.

masterzone2
Another Illegal firearm seams to be a lot of them going on In fact got some info from police when Mr bird went off on one they the police and media and anti gun fools forgot to mention the OTHER shootings that same day 3 big ones 3 different places ALL with ILLEGAL firearms. Granted some to most of you will know about them already but it just shows how fuct we are getting. And even the member of the police in question (I am not giving too much out) said the real issues are the illegal ones And by statistical FACT the issues are from the afro Caribbean/black groups- NOT BEING RACIST JUST A FACT FROM POLICE and their record system. From what I can tell (THIS BEING MY OPINION ONLY NOT FACT ETC) the police don't want us to lose our firearms as this WILL lead to them not needing them as much. thus reducing armed officers= illegal firearms go out of control. But nice to Mrs Marshall-Andrews IS 100% WRONG!
