Went on a bit of a road-trip today setting of from Manchester at 05:00 and only getting home at just after 18:30! Had a corker of a day though and got to shoot at three new grounds (to me) with Cat including the Handicap Classic at the Royal Berkshire Shooting School, a couple of rounds of Compak Sporting at Sporting Targets West London and the Churchill Challenge at EJ Churchills :good:

Scores on the doors:

RBSS:

Nicky T: 70 (83 with handicap)

Cat: 90 (96 with handicap) :o :good::good:

Sporting Target:

Nicky T: 22 and 21

Cat: 22 and 22

EJ Churchill:

Nicky T: 71

Cat: 83

Thoroughly enjoyed the day but am ruddy shattered now and will definitely be going back to RBSS for another stab at the Handicap Classic and cannot wait for the Clay Shooting Classic now at EJ Churchills as that ground was phenomenal!:good: Supreme thanks has to go to Timps and Mini Timps for the loan of their 682 Gold E that i shot today :thanks:

No probs glad I could help out :good: was it much different to yours ? Now about payment for this 'borrow' :D:P

It was a little shorter than mine, and probably a couple of pounds lighter but nothing that made it "unshootable" on the day. Definitely relishing the prospect of heading back to RBSS for another go with my 682 and shooting the Classic at Churchills in June :good:

Shot jc marsh sporting clays today with a few of the lads we all started well but I cacked up a couple of stands in the middle as did jimmy o but Paul poetry in motion Ingham straighted quite a few for 88 ex 100 Well done Paul not shot much lately but he's still on form myself an 80,Jimmy o had his confidence knocked with bad carts been kept in the damp so only a 67,paul Richmond 40 ex 50 with monster hangover and I won't embarrass my son with his score more practice required ouch that's going to cost me.

We went to Doveridge early this morning, met up with Nicky T,Chard and Timps :good:

Really enjoyed the shoot as for a change they didn't use the valley, which made the shoot better for me,with some different target presentations that kept me interested yes:

Thought stand 12 was excellent :good: a real card wrecker :lol::lol:

Haven't been to Doveridge for a while, but will certainly return soon,on a dry day hopefully :good::lol:

Well shot Chaps :good:

Yes, good shoot at Doveridge, my bogey ground and raining like mad, my bogey weather <_<

Nice to shoot with Azzurri for once and he shot a great round too :good:

Not an easy course in my opinion, scores on the doors :

Azzurri - 89 :good: A joy to watch.

Chard - 76 :sly: El Magnifico

Azzurri's mate Nick - 75 Nice to meet you chap :good:

NickyT - 73 or 72 :hmm: Steady stuff.

Timps - 70 Obviously overawed by El Magnifico

Me, NickyT and Timps then went to Kingsley on the way home. Big mistake for me, think I'd had enough.

Much easier shoot, but I shot it like a complete tool <_<

NickyT and Timps shot it very well, NickyT got 1st in B Class, Timps got joint 2nd in B Class.

I was nearly last in A Class :

NickyT - 84 :good: Good hit chap, shame about the last stand, you were on for a biggun.

Timps - 79 :good: Nice shooting for a gimp.

Chard - 75 <_< **** off

Me too mate :/

Haven't shot well since last Summer

It'll come back when it's ready
