Nicky T
I have asked Nicky to post up what i have sent him as i can't do the pictures with the text,Thanks in anticipation , i'm still knackered. from Auntie. Here's the text, pictures to follow: "The temperatures were around 32 degrees both days we shot and the humidity around 90.The course was set by Graham who used to run Sandringham. It was in a stunning location up in the hills Shot over 2 layouts of each 100 birds. All the clays were RED.It was a very challenging but enjoyable layout but you really could not afford to switch off.At least 50% of the clays shot were beneath your feet, and some were decidedly rangey.I did not do so well on the near stuff but really enjoyed the second day when we climbed a large valley steeper than to the top at Doveridge and then followed a stream down a blisteringly hot gulley. You can get the full results off the CPSA website.Basically George Digweed was first by an astonishing 14 clear, ( i think )Our seniors won gold, our juniors won gold as did our vets and shooting in ladies we also got gold. I also was involved in a shoot out in individual class and managed to win Bronze.Even Diggers said it was a tough course A very enjoyable time was had by all and I was proud to represent England again being part of an excellent team..Pictures include one of George recieving his Gun and trophy and afew others which are farley self explanatory, i couldnt take too many on the actual course as i was trying to consentrate and we went onto every stand queue free so not alot of time once you had recovered from the hike between stands. from Auntie."
