PaulABF
I've owned one for two years now. It's my first choice choice every time I go out. No problems whatsoever. Had a couple of feed problems but that was using 65mm carts. Fires all day using clear pigeon 30 or 32g.
sitsinhedges
I've owned three and they've all ultimately been trouble. I shot well with them but couldn't put up with the jams on the autos or the bent rib on the pump. Shame really cos I did like them for what they were. I also found that because they tend to change the spec on a regular basis if you own an older one you might not be able to get parts for it. Chard
The poll should say "how happy were you with it?" Presumably, if anybody's still got one, they must be happy with it. The legions of people who were not happy with it will have ****** it off by now.

karlbird
I bought one on Friday. I was slightly worried due to the amount of bad press they receive, but couldnt stretch my budget to a new ES100. The shop has sold hundreds and has only had a few back with problems, the o ring going and a clip that held the barrel on, but that has been changed on the new design. The new fast loader looks lots better than the old loading system and there are a few refinements on the new models. Time will tell I guess, but I dont expect miracles for 350 quid. If they were that bad there wouldnt be so many around and they would be out of business.
eagle eyes
I bought mine last monday, Got it second hand for 200 quid. Stripped it down when I got home and was pleased to find it had seen little use Its good that you can adjust them to your fit by using the supplied shims. I took it out today clay bashing and was pleased with the way it handled, I did have 2 jams but I'm fairly sure this was down to the carts I was using as when I stripped it apart to clean it I was shocked at how dirty it was. This was confirmed by a phonecall to a mate who was also using the same carts and said he has never seen his u/o so filthy :o
Oops Missed Again
Fantastic for the money, the people that have problems, what are they doing with them, what are they trying to fire through them. I bet 99% of the time it is operator error.

ellebarto
Thats an interesting poll result so far and not what I was expecting. I put down dissatisfied. Had an FAC Hatsan from new and it jammed and failed to cycle 1 in every 5 shots at least no matter what I did to it. It seems if your in the lucky 2/3rds you get a bargain auto though! Other than the jamming, I did like it!

ellebarto
6 months ago, approximately. Bolt release was on the side. Strange thing was if I blasted all 8 shells out in quick sucession it was fine and cycled far more reliably. The moment I took my time, i.e normal shooting conditions it screwed up! fenix
Most of the people that have had problems appear to be either the older side release models, or the 3 1/2" mag versions. I am seriously considering getting one. Two of my local gunshops have a lot of Hatsans in stock and seem to shift them, both appear to be happy with the revised model, and advise getting them over 2nd hand guns. I cant see why they would b happy with Hatsan if they were getting loads of returns. One shop has a version with pistol grip.
