Toombsy
This morning I craved a packet of Rileys Roast Ox crisps, from back in the early 80s. They were bloody lovely And I miss Players No3 fags too. Anyone remember Youngers No3? That was a damn fine, creamy pint. Could do with one or eight of those again... hendersons
Decent pies from a chipshop with proper short crust pastry made out the back. I hate those soggy flakey things that just have gravy inside. I also miss decent pubs for drinkers to go in with real ale and cider served straight from the barrel. Where you had people stood at the bar telling a good yarn. Much more sociable than the modern day pubs which all seem to be gastro pubs, where if you just go for a drink you are made to feel Unwelcome or chain pubs that sell cheap **** beer and the decor all seems to come from the same place with little local character or soul.
