Old Bull
yes i agree but sometimes i think the shot patterns are just to small with me being a newbie shooter maby i should try diffetent ammo
highseas
i love them but got fed up with the apparent lack of power and sell the dam thing only to buy one more
vampire
Love em,i had a single baikal that knocked over rabbits at a good range, also had a hush power....not impressed,i will get another .410 for the rabbits, but this time it has to be either a double or a pump action to really get some good bags. There is a review on rabbit shooting with a .410,cant remember where i saw it,but someone will know and put up a link
semiautolee
i love mine! only trouble is cartridges are a fortune for them now! spoils the fun
chrispti
410 hushpower has earned a permanent place in my cabinet
ajm1979
Same here I love my moderated 410, just for those occasions you need to keep the noise down.
apache
Depends what you want it for. I like it for nesting crows in trees - much less tree comes back compared to a 12G. Nice tool for safe humnane dispatch. Quieter than larger gauges. It has a place in the cabinet, but wouldn't rush to do 100 sporting clays with it.......... Zaiyn
I found it a fun little gun to shoot, but off-loaded mine as it just wasn't getting used. Regards, Z. Edited July 17, 2011 by Zaiyn

Zaiyn
I must admit, they are very expensive compared to 12g catridges. I suppose they are made in lower numbers? Regards, Z.
Scully
Bought a Mossi 500 for my son,and I love it.Throws great patterns. He uses it for branchers at the relevant time of year.So long as you use them within their limitations they're great fun. Did a 50 birder with mine the look on some peoples faces was priceless Mossy 3 shot hushpower but also bought a spare un modded barrel and love it
wildfowler.250
They are just as good as other gauges if you point them in the right place
Dan73
Got a Baikal 410 single barrel which both my boys use to on clays occasionally. Yes, carts are expensive, but its fun to use and smashes clays just as well as my 12g's - I find it actually helps improve lead calculations owing to the shot string. welshwarrior
love them all, but gone to 28 bore now Edited July 17, 2011 by welshwarrior

Photoguy2910
I've always fancied one and finally picked up a wee Breda single barrel folder, it's a bit rough but I'm sure with a wee bit tlc and elbow grease it will be great and it only cost me £20.
njc110381
They're brilliant tools. As long as you respect them and appreciate that they ony throw half the shot a 12g does then they're fine. My biggest Pigeon bag ever was shot with a sbs Baikal .410 I've got a Hushpower now. It takes pride of place in a lot of situations I would have used my air rifle. Birds in trees is the main one. You don't have to worry about your pellet getting deflected by a leaf when you've got a few dozen more heading the same way. Mine's knocked the local Magpie numbers back pretty hard and it doesn't disturb the neighbours at all.
Tiger955i
I have a Hushpower Mossy pump and as said above invaluable in the right situations. I think its a great little gun. As suggested above I will probably invest in an unmoderated barrell in the near future. Shame about the price of the cartridges thugh.
