Love em,i had a single baikal that knocked over rabbits at a good range, also had a hush power....not impressed,i will get another .410 for the rabbits, but this time it has to be either a double or a pump action to really get some good bags.

There is a review on rabbit shooting with a .410,cant remember where i saw it,but someone will know and put up a link

Depends what you want it for. I like it for nesting crows in trees - much less tree comes back compared to a 12G. Nice tool for safe humnane dispatch. Quieter than larger gauges. It has a place in the cabinet, but wouldn't rush to do 100 sporting clays with it..........

Got a Baikal 410 single barrel which both my boys use to on clays occasionally.

Yes, carts are expensive, but its fun to use and smashes clays just as well as my 12g's - I find it actually helps improve lead calculations owing to the shot string.

They're brilliant tools. As long as you respect them and appreciate that they ony throw half the shot a 12g does then they're fine. My biggest Pigeon bag ever was shot with a sbs Baikal .410

I've got a Hushpower now. It takes pride of place in a lot of situations I would have used my air rifle. Birds in trees is the main one. You don't have to worry about your pellet getting deflected by a leaf when you've got a few dozen more heading the same way. Mine's knocked the local Magpie numbers back pretty hard and it doesn't disturb the neighbours at all.
