I have a 1964 Sunbeam Alpine, it has unfortunitly been in a barn for about 6 years. I have now decided i have the time and money to get it back on the road. It was my every day car, but it failed its MOT, i had a company car and kids so no money for it.

These are a photo of one the same colour as mine but in a lot better condition i only have photos that are not digital of mine.

Ive got a 1986 mkII golf which is my daily drive, and a 1985 defender 90. also a series IIa which is currently having a comlete rebuild!!

The German has got cobra bucket seats, full stainless exhaust, lowered 60mm and has a whole load of stereo in the back!

90 is a general work horse and off road toy, is jacked up about 4", bucket seats, winch, cb, and a few other toys :)

Tell us more please - although I never owned one I am bit of an old skool Ford fan.

I hanker after a Cosworth engined flat front MKII Escort...

You want a Burton powered one to keep it classic'ish

The blue one is mine ;)

I had a Burton 1700 Crossflow in my Lotus, good lump but I would want a bit more power than that

More of a thugs car than a classic, but you get the idea

And here's my 86 944 Turbo which I've owned since the late 90's.

Good to see another man with taste! And that's a good looking one too... Are you on the Porscheclub GB forum?

Here's mine, with optional scantily clad attachment :good:

(It's OK, she does have a face in real life!)

PhilP and Sandpiper, you both have the same mania as me. Its dirty at the moment and on SORN but there's a '91 porche turbo 944 (black also) in my garage too.

Only done 90K from new but still has the power to please.

I was thnking I might sell it as its rarely used ???

Probably valueless except to me.

You have mentioned the Alpine before! I have a 1960 Series II Alpine, the same colour as yours. Mine has been off the road for a lot longer, I did give it to a **** in the midlands who was supposed to restore it but although he did a great paint job he took my money and got no further, so I collected it before I lost any more.

I lack the time, but one day I will get it done.
