lxtav
No snow here but had a whale of a time last year in all the snow having a laugh at the people trying to get through nearly 2ft snow in a fiesta. Downside I could always get to work while others were snowed in.

stokie
We always head into the hills around Buxton in the peak district . Plenty of fun to be had in deep snow . Especially in a proper4x4 not ones that just pretend . Tin hat on .... Lol
CZ550Kevlar
I had a 2.2 frontera with all terrain tyres last time it snowed heavily and towed people up steep hills etc, this year however i have a 1.3 Terios with insa turbo special traks on it, i`m desperate to know if it will get up steep hills covered in the white stuff. SO BRING IT ON!!! i love driving in the snow, i`ll stay up late and wait until 2 inches has fallen then go out, i don`t care how late it is. gixer1
I too love it although this year I'm more keen to get to use my quad to get to work in the deep snow...and try to get back up this hill in the deep snow...
Dekers
It is weather like this that the 4x4 comes into it's own on the roads, 2 years back when we had the silly snow round my way I was the only person who could get out for about 10 days! stokie
I just been called out by my apprentice who stuck in snow . I ended up pulling a double decker bus up a steep hill as it was totally blocking the road . The funniest thing was the look on people's faces as a landrover overtook them with a bus tied to it as they sat there wheel spinning . He's put the vid on FB I will try and get a link to it Landrovers rule
Laird Lugton
No 4x4 here but a Polo with winter tyres which will do the job just fine
Big Mat
My Land Rover is off the road, the battery died and then this cold weather hit. I've got no anti-freeze in the radiator so it frozen solid. No fun in the snow for me

CZ550Kevlar
Its great the jimmy has towed 6 cars this evening and needless to say not one came out with any hairdresser comments ! Lol i`m guessing your jimny has a 1.3 engine? i have a Terios with a 1.3 engine which gives about the same power, how is it at towing as this is my first year with a small engine and didn`t want to embarrass myself offering to tow people and failing. Salop Matt
Kev it was fine but wouldn't be able to help big 4x4s and long wheel base vans etc, i don't think ! But for focus size down its fine and its also about how much grip you have because in the dry our Jimny will tow a long wheel base defender !
