People are perhaps getting bored with these but I'll pop this last one I filmed 2 nights ago. It was shot with 17 Rem using a 25g Vmax at a mild 3830 f/s.

The rifle is a Tikka M595 with a new LW match barrel. I have recently tuned the load to shoot sub 0.25MOA.

Shot was taken from a clean barrel which is a always a good sign of a quality barrel when first shot from a clean barrel is the same POI.

When I renewed the 'new posts' page there wer two headings that stood out. '62 Yard pigeon' and '312 yard pigeon' .

I opened the page fully expecting dozens more keyboard warrior style comments regarding the distance of shot etc, strangely none, maybe nobody's noticed yet?

Amazing shot taken by an obviously highly skilled artist, oh to be THAT good! :good:

Hi Brian

I'm not Alan (sirslotsalot) I'm Si (bigsigh66). Friends with Al but we have our own vid channels. Both into the same kind of shooting. In fact we shot together on my shoot last week for 2 days for the first time.

Regards

Si

So Si are you ex services or just a damn good shot?

Thanks. I just spend lots of time in the field and do plenty of research to improve shooting and accuracy where I can. Started shooting centre fire rifles 2 1/2 years ago. Got straight into reloading and found it fascinating.

Another classic shot Si.

I must get me .17Rem to replace the HMR.

If you home load and don't mind it you won't regret it. ;)
