Guest
Set up on the same field of Barley today that I took 66 off last week. Conditions were a lot better with a good wind in my back and an overcast sky making it harder for the pigeons to see me. Set up late morning and from the word go the pigeons started to leave the woods and hurl themselves at the decoys. Shot bad early on but regained my usual form as the day went on and claimed several right and lefts. Decided to knock it on the head around 4pm as we had lots of birds to pick. Took us nearly 2 hours to pack up and finished up on 144 between two of us, me accounting for 105 of them and my granddad the remaining 39. Easily could've shot another 50+! A truly red letter day that I'll never forget not to mention my first century! Think my grin says it all! Days bag:
