bullet1747
When you arrive in the field at your fav spot do you put the decoys out or make your hide first
Tod
always make your hide first cos as soon as you put the decoys out pound to a penny they'll start pouring in

daz2202
Hide first then a roll up whilst I wander about deciding where the deeks are going
Hamster
Deeks first, then shells in gun and left on ground broken whilst building hide, then stoop, keep still in the open and bag whirly birds half way through.

la bala
hide, decoys, coffee all over, missed first shot.
bakerboy
Hide first, then decoys, this way you can check how good you hide is from the edge of your pattern
Constantinos
Ditto the majority - hide first, gear set up inside it, and then decoys/floaters and the like..and then a cup of coffee pending the first bird
sitsinhedges
Decoys first purely because the net is always at the bottom of my bag
Cosd
Hide first then decoys. As soon as you walk back you're ready for action. Cos
motty
It doesn't matter which way round you do it, you're not going to be ready any quicker. If i'm with someone, normally one does the decoys and one does the hide.
JDog
I always build my hide first then sit on my seat to see what the 'picture' of the field is like before identifying a place for the rotary. It may be long winded but I then go back into the hide to determine where I should place the decoys relative to the magnet. Having set out the decoys I then go back to the hide only to reflect immediately that they are in the wrong place.
