The Essex Hunter
I looked at my phone with bleary eyes this morning around 7am after going to bed early to sleep off a bad headache last night, there was a missed call and a text from Peter Theobald. “Got a day tomorrow if you are free” So I had to shape up a bit smart and get my **** in gear asap….. We set up at 11 either side of a long thin wood with birds coming in from different directions finishing at 5 161 for me and 217 shot by Peter, we both lost over 20+ birds each as the long grass deep ditches and brambles hampered picking up. It was a good job we shot today as the big blue tractor came in the field just as we packed up….. TEH

JDog
Those fields should shoot again when the beans have had some moisture on them and start to sprout, irrespective of the cultivations carried out.
