Shoot prices

I've just been to one of my local clubs to check it out. The prices seem quite reasonable to me, but as I'm new to shotguns I thought I'd ask you guys what you pay to compare. For a 50 bird job, it's £9. Coaching for the same with a gun and cartidges included is £35, which I can do with or without a certificate. I'll wait to hear about my application first, but if they turn me down maybe I'll have a go now and again with the coach. Are these prices reasonable?

I normally go to Mork or Keepers cottage both Chepstow way and pay £9 per 50 clays, Good Targets

Seem to be the same price at the Valley near Shoe, just off the A420(Petes).

I think Siston common is about £11 per 50 clays, but not my cup of tea.

Clay Cafe on the Weymouth road is approx £25 per 100 clays and they are really good targets.

I do Beating at Biddestone, never new there was a clay shooting club up there

Where is your local?

Stans at Lyndale £10 for 50 birds, chalenging targets and a little coaching free if required.

McF and I went to Kelbrook on Sunday, price was around £6 per 25 birds, but the birds and facilities are first class.

Webber - if the coaching is free then you had better book in for a fortnight at least :drinks::good::D

Small world - a relative of mine owns Home Farm where the pheasant shooting is in Biddestone  I have had a few gun days there but not much recently. My father is a fully paid member though :good:

£12 for 50 birds and cartridges on my cousins shoot near Malmesbury.
