Dave TS
The quad is gone........long live the Alvis Supacat Ex British Army, last saw service in Afghanistan, retired in 2010. 6 wheel drive, VW 1.9 TDI engine/auto box, front four wheels steer conventionally, plus it has skid steer. Very light on the ground due to the flotation tyres. There's a winch under the cover behind the seat in case I have to rescue anyone (or myself ). Dave TS
mint and about £10k second hand looked at them before top speed 40 mph would be pain on road though £10k? I wish........You won't even get an ex Witham vehicle that needs a lot of work for that :( Does it swim David? Yes. Around 700mm wade depth, then it floats. It has two bilge pumps, as the hull can't be 100% watertight. Outboard on the tailgate, and away you go nice motor ,but i like things that keep the weather out......................and a heater. The radiator and oil coolers are under your seat. I was out on my quad in -15 last year, it's better than that

Blackbart
Nice toy but slow and cold. It would take hours to cover the ground. Be good for feeding etc but i dont know about lamping unless the area is small.
