Lord Geordie
Well tonight I have chosen a real ale by Harviestoun of Scotland!. Christmas Pun Ale of course but a fine Ale non the less with a nice citrus hit! Grapefruit note is quite delicate but definately there! Morrison's £1.50 I am off to enjoy a little more

PhilR
I had a bottle of Shepherd Neame 1698 bottle conditioned strong ale 6.5% abv. Very nice too. Next on the agenda, but not tonight, is a bottle of Thwaites Old Dan, again bottle conditioned at 7.4% abv but only 330ml size. I found this little gem in the lager section of our local Morrisons. No good talking about it, the bottle is looking at me and whispering drink me, so the dirty deed is done. Mmmm very fruity and rich.
