As i said in yesterdays post crow tomorrow. Got up at 5.30 my old back was killing me again. but as i'd put up hide yesterday thought might as well go.

Fed the cockers and made flask etc was away by 6.15 ish for a short drive to farm 10 mins.

Arrived at the reseeded field and about 100 + carrion and rooks took of heading to some trees up on the mountain side. :sad1:

Set up my decoys about 15 or so,back into the hide for a smoke. Not long before some crows started to come into range. :yahoo:

Came in nice and steady all morning. After a hour or so a hawk landed on a BT pole then in a bit swooped down and had 1 of the dead crows :whistling: Easy breakfast but he came back a while after and nicked another 1 or his mate did,now thats cheek.

Had some nice shooting took a few nice high one's ,don't know where the carrions and rooks went had a few but lot of jackdaws. Will catch up with them 1 day i'm certain.

Then i had a mishap a couple of dead crows had dropped in the blackthorn trees behind me, so on a lull thought i'd pick them up bent under a branch and caught my nut on a little spike on it blood everywhere, did not think i had that much blood in me.lol

Took a while to stop bleeding, then packed up 82 picked 2 to hawks breakfast at least 3 dropped over the lane behind me and i was not walking for them.

So total 87 not bad for 102 shots with a good few second barrel kills.post-40804-0-59030100-1370023578_thumb.jpg
