henry d
When I was in the Fire Service, some bright and well paid officer decided on new multi-coloured livery for the fire safety and fire investigation vehicles. The sign said something along the lines of "Don`t bring fire to your door" and had flames across the whole vehicle and the grim reaper in black. So when there is a fire death a vehicle with the grim reaper turns up...

smig4373
Today I saw an Effluent Tanker on the roundabout at South Mimms on the M25. I could not take a picture as I was driving, but it made me laugh, marketing at it's vey best. On the side it read, Yesterday's Meals on Wheels. On the rear it said, No stools left on this vehicle overnight. On a builders van in Wimbledon many years ago, the signage read, Singh and Sons You have tried the Cowboys, now try the Indians. What have you seen that made you smile? I saw a similar tanker in Totnes,Devon...with .."THIS LORRY IS FULL OF POLITICAL PROMISE"...on the side

Greymaster
There is an old joke saying "climb a ladder to suck cess!" But there is a tanker firm who deals with septic tanks called "Suck Cess". Saw a van at the time of the Savile scandal. Obviously an odd job man and van, but he had called his business, "Jim'll fix it!". He will wish he hadn't now.
