DVLA get rid of the data after a few years. Just let them know what you can and all will be fine.
Scully
Just give the approximate year/month they happened, explaining you don't have exact dates, and that will do.
bruno22rf
Why didn't the CRB check find them??
Gordon R
I presume CRB checks deal with the PNC, not DVLA.
parapilot
As above all iv ever done is put the offence eg sp30 approx 10 years ago etc and put "no record of exact dates, please check records" They have never even mentioned it and been happy, as long as you appear to be open and honest there won't be a problem. sirgoldalot
sp30 speeding is hardly criminal though you must inform your feo if you get a ticket.... 33.5mph in 30mph zone...is ticket able ... sp30 a little over the limit a small error in concentration reckless/dangerous driving no insurance now thats criminal as its with intent... no excuse Edited November 3, 2013 by sirgoldalot

Nikk
Why didn't the CRB check find them?? Its not a criminal offense and the DVLA do not keep the records after a few years. This is what they said to me when I tried to do exactly the same as the OP is doing.

You do not need to declare the latter - yet! J.
keg
A quick question from me. I picked up 3 points back in September, do I wait for my renewal or just call it in now?
Nikk
A quick question from me. I picked up 3 points back in September, do I wait for my renewal or just call it in now? I wouldn't tell them until the renewal, it's not required.
neil3728
I actually forgot about my speeding ticket when i willed in my shotgun application, it was the mrs who spotted it. When i had my interview i mentioned it I was told it didn't matter, not sure if it was added to my application or not.
Scully
It is the deliberate attempt to deceive which will be frowned upon. A simple mention of the fact you have previous convictions for driving offences but can't recall exact dates would suffice.
kyska
all i ever put is motoring affences. Meaning you leave out the murder charges etc?
JonathanL
A quick question from me. I picked up 3 points back in September, do I wait for my renewal or just call it in now? If it's a conviction then you need to declare it on the form. No need to tell them at any point before that. If it's a fixed penalty you do not need to declare it on the form as it only asks for convictions. However, the form is changing on 1st December and the new one asks you to declare fixed penalties.
