What hide poles are you using in the field shots?

Cheers

The light green hide poles are from Pinewood. They have lasted several years and are very good.

btw I meant to ask, have you noticed much diff since you got the terror choke? :good:

I was using a Terror in the 12 on the greylags. It's very good but it's a bit too tight for fast BB loads, that's why I've been using smaller hevishot through it. The clips on the marsh was using a Terror in my 10. It patterns very well with Homeloaded BB and Gamebore Rhino BB, as well as hevi shot. I would certainly recommend the Terrors.

What goose call were you using ???

I used a Canada power clucker by Zink and a Nordik greylag call in the videos. I don't think I used a pink call in the videos.

What 10 did you go for? Browning gold or remi?

I'm half thinking of changing my sbs 10 for a semi or a Lincoln as I don't use it that much but worried my maxus will take a back seat!

It's an older Browning Gold. I got it cheap just before last season. It has served me very well and I haven't really had any bother with it. In fact the only slight trouble I had was on the marsh in that video. One of the shells was not ejected properly and I struggled for a few seconds to get the empty shell clear to load up again.

I probably use the 12 slightly more, usually when there is more chance of shooting some ducks.

Cheers for the reply! How do you find the gun as far as ejecting shells and reloading? Especially on the mud?

Always tempted for one but as you mentioned, the ducks during a flight is the major drawback. Last time I took my sbs 10 out for geese I shot 1 mallard and 3 teal...not a goose near me

It's ejects very well and is easy enough to reload. It usually ejects shell a very long way, which is a pain when you want the cases to reload.
