We used 3 large rolls of hay as our background, and attached our Desert Camo netting to the front . We placed 12 Shell decoys out and managed to shoot 12 Woodies. hutchie the white hunter Posted August 29, 2007 Report Share Posted August 29, 2007 Had a top day yesterday me and boom boom were out and hd a tough start with only a few cushes but around 2:30 afternoon went to a wheat stubble park and got a 290 bird day and picked 278 so we were well chuffed cant beat days like that birds were dropping in no probs TOTAL 13,891 ps even got a vist from someone else on the forum who was complementing us on our shooting so we must have looked good from a distance ha ha no that was well good even had the police chopper out someone had complained the usal anti but once it was all sorted we carried on pluging away !!!!!!!!!! the hitman Posted September 1, 2007 Report Share Posted September 1, 2007 Well started at 1pm on rape stubble, cracking wind , decoys looked good in the sunshine .First 3 pigeons came to the decoys , i shoot the nearest one dead and another one 10yrds behind drops dead too, great start 2 for 1 . Pigeons came mostly in singles , but i shot a few doubles as well. I had to pack up at 4.30 to collect the kids , with a bag of 46. TOTAL 15181 I think Roblatch needs to add his to the tally.
