chrisjpainter
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cricket/26040475 Kevin Pietersen has been informed he's no longer part of England plans; his career is over. Madness. I know he's a bit of a wild card, but he's also world class. Strauss could handle him, what we need more is a captain with a backbone... ollie
I can't believe England axed him. He is their most talented player & one of the few players that could change a game.
Fisherman Mike
Not well liked and an extremely disruptive influence... Plays for himself and not the Team... He had his chance and wont be missed.. Be interesting to see what revelations now come to the fore..
four-wheel-drive
I think that they should give the whole lot of them the sack and start from scratch and build a new team with young blood ok we may not win anything for a few years but then this load of ******* that we have got are not exactly winning much at least a young team has an excuse as they are still learning. We here the same load of rubbish about the footballers who get drunk and kill people or get drunk and rape women but hay they have paid for there crimes with three months in clink lets welcome them back on to the playing field and fill there pockets with money all that matters is that our teem wins. DEADLY PLUMBER
He's world class when it suits him. He plays when it suits him. He wants money and profile. He used England to raise his profile. He wants to go round the world as a 20/20 specialist. But won't play 20/20 for England. Or his county. His ego upsets a now young England dressing room. Time for England to re-build and bring in some youth. Good move. Their is a lot of young talent to bring through.
ollie
In the oppositions favour perhaps.. Was he England's highest run scorer during the awful ashes series? I know he was close if not. He is world class whether you like it or not,ok he has is arrogant but that is part of what makes him so good. There was plenty of matches he won for the English cricket team so don't talk rubbish; including practically winning the t20 World Cup single handedly. ollie
Being the best batter in the worst team ever is not exactly something to brag about. I'm not bragging, I couldn't give a damn bout England, sure the team is full of foreigners, including a couple of Irish men. I just think they will regret letting kp go. He only started scoring runs in Australia when the press and critics put the boot in. The 20/20 World Cup was a long time ago now. A lot of water has gone under the bridge since then. It would be nice to have the old KP back. But I think it's all over. It will be interesting to see how he does in the IPL New broom sweeps clean. Stick to the shinty Ollie and leave cricket to the English Pieterson could have had it all and become one of the best South African cricketers of all time but he let his massive ego get in the way. He's inconsistently world class at best and I'm sure the English Cricket authorities know what they are doing. Like I said he wont be missed and the majority of English Cricket fans wont be shedding a tear at his departure There are some Brilliant young Cricketers out there at County level who need to be blooded and we also need to be preparing our wickets in this country to favour our bowlers like they do in Australia. We were as abject in Australia as they were in England and the Indians and Pakistanis would probably cream them..

Leave cricket to the English???morgan & rankin irish, not to mention all the South Africans that you have in your team. Stupidly boring and they'll let any foreigner play for the national team.
