chrisjh
I have recently found Brains Beer a predominately South Wales based brew, I have taken a particularly liking to the Black Jack Stout, What other Beers would the PW forum suggest trying

Flashman
Dr McGloo's Amber Enema? Strollop's Lobster Scrumpy? Blackadder's Bowel Basher? Personally, I favour Harvey's Sussex Best and Black Sheep Brewery's Best Bitter.

Frenchieboy
You might find a few suitably tasty beers worth trying on here: http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/263092-the-realy-tasty-bottled-beer-thread/?hl=%2Breally+%2Btasty+%2Bbeer+%2Bthread
bruno22rf
Old Tom and Old Peculiar are well established quality beers-and Tesco often have them @3 for £5. I refuse to drink anything from the Badger brewery after visiting it and Black Sheep seems to have developed a horrid taste. Old Thumper, ESB and Bass would all get my vote as well but sometimes Ales vary from one pub to another.
