camokid
hi all as it was such a cracking day friday as soon as i finished work at three it was a mad dash down to the farm it was like a summers day everything looking so bright it was a joy to be out... i decided on what farm i was going to look for a deer on and headed that way ....sure enough as soon as i got into the first filed i massiv roe buck and doe where there but lucky for them the shot was a bit iffy because of the road.. i moved on trying not to bother them too much .. i got to a small pond and creeped around the edge and up the hill hugging the hedge ..i glanced to my right to find two roe does laying up in the hedge.. as slowly as i could a raised my rifle to my sticks and found them in my sights... but as i did this i spotted movement in the rough patch of ground at the edge of the field... i looked in the binoculars to find a munty buck my attentions turned to him as i do love my muntys and would be better off with him he looked stunning with the sun bouncing of him.. i new it was a long shot but felt confident i took aim and down he went on the spot.. i was delighted to find a good heart shot he is now destin for venison bresaola cutlets in brandy pepper cream and butter fried steaks.. cant wait.. many thanks andy
