Dannydp
So I have 2 Browning B325's both grade 6. Each are a little different but stock lengths are the same. The one with the silver oval and tear drop is a 30" and the other is a 28". I shoot excellent with both and both are mint. I shoot clays pigeon and game, walked up and driven. Which should I keep? Nice situation to be in but such a tough decision 😊 Here's a link to some photos of the guns http://s784.photobucket.com/user/Dannydp1984/slideshow/Mobile%20Uploads Edited August 1, 2014 by Dannydp
Kalahari
Simples, keep the 28 for walked up and the 30 for clays. They can be a happy little pair in your cabinet. David.
Scully
I had a 325 G3 many moons ago. Great guns. Personally I'd opt for the 28".
ehb102
Why do you have to keep only one? Is there some Highlander thing going on in your cabinet? Brownings X25 series tend to be barrel-heavy IME so I'd keep the 28" personally. That depends on how long your stock is of course, and what you personally like. Haha money is the main reason and I can't see me ever using one over the other. Also to save me looking at the cabinet for an hour pondering before a trip out. shaun4860
If it was me I would keep the 30", But I prefer 30" guns
welshwarrior
If it was me I'd keep the 28" as I'm strange like that but would advise most people to keep the 30" it's more flexible.
bruno22rf
Easy-get rid of the ugly one-the one that's not a thing of beauty-not a work of art or a joy to behold......Oh, wait a minute . .... strangford wildfowler
Well when you decide you can give me the one you dont want ;-)
Chris Bb
If it was me I'd keep the 28" as I'm strange like that but would advise most people to keep the 30" it's more flexible. The 30" will probably either sell for more or sell more easily. So, if you really do shoot the same with both, you might as well maximise your return. Unless you want to keep the arguably more valuable gun, that is. Or advertise both & see which sells first then keep the other. Decisions, decisions. figgy
Keep the 28" as you could always fit barrel extentions or extended chokes if you wanted more length. Figgy
ChrisAsh
Selling without trading in for a new gun will lose lots of its value and also make the other gun lonely in the cabinet, so best all round is to forget selling and enjoy the choice
Dannydp
Well I think I've possibly decided. Think I'm going to keep the 28". I shot in the hide today and just felt that the 28" would be the better choice and I wouldn't say that on a walked up day or beaters day that I'd be able shoot anything with the 30" that I couldn't with the 28. In terms of wood I think they both look great in their own right.

theshootist
Lovely guns. Gd 6 325 as your hide gun!
Dannydp
I'm of the opinion that they are there to use although I do take great care with them. I don't always use such a nice gun in the hide though, I've got a Winchester 5500 that I use which is up for sale on here at the moment. It's a great gun but I fancy and auto or pump action just to see how I get on with one.
